I am becoming more and more interested with chickens. I would love to eventually have a farm and raise more birds. I have a small backyard flock currently but they're all 11 weeks old
Keep it up man soon those chickens are going to be worth about 25 bucks a piece or more so soon all this work will be paying off some put a smile on your face sweetie and enjoy it cuz you're doing great very nice set-up it's looking good reusable to save money great work man.
Would be nice if the chickens had the option of running around during the day, like the Farmer Angus moveable trailers at Spier. Does require moveable fencing though.
Tractors are as good or better. They get new land every day, and they work as little permaculture soldiers prepping the land for gardens and beds and growing food, ewti vs parasites etc. The setup at spier is good for what they are doing though. For me, we need to do tractors to protect our indigenous held but also to protect them from the million forms of predator we have
@@bigmamarosso not going to lie, not easy, at least for me. Really thought if I could hunt I could do livestock easy. Not really, hunting you are kind of detached, when you are killing a chicken you see a very distinctive personality. Anyway this was a midlife crisis after my wife left me and now they kind of became my therapists. I'm sure you could do it but its a huge investment in time. I will get back into it eventually but I'm just going to stick to taking their eggs. Good luck.

No more like 10 if extreme luck. Chickens are like 7 bucks at a store and even healthier like this, 10 max.

Hey just started myself. Got 11 meat chickens 4 turkeys and trying to figure out how to make money off them. I can only butcher them for myself.
