Beautiful views, helpful staff, and friendly, but not ingratiating, service. The last bastion of style and old fashioned manners in Shanklin Olde Village. A shame other property owners didn't feel the same as the proprietors of this really good hotel by not ruining the locale with sadly ugly new builds and the demolition of a modern-style theatre in the festival style which was in no way run down.
