Make sure u put the range finder up. Why dont u just put spray powder lines away from house in 5 yard increments, hunting over bait, make urself look like a hunter. Why dont u come to pa, we will hunt state game lines , see if ur ass will make the mountain before u begin ur hunt. Poaching at its best.
@georgepotter5101 First off, there is nothing common about sense. Secondly, I hope that wasn't a shot at my intelligence. There are so many variables to sound travel, and unless you are speaking at a slight yell and standing directly next to the window, a low tone voice will not echo out of the house with furniture in it. You speak as if he was standing in a hollow tunnel. Try logic instead of sense. And he mentioned that the deer were around while the house was occupied, so they are used to slight human interactions already. So once again a low tone voice should not startle them, if they even hear it.

Hahah. Good point. I guess it’s just habit. When I take my kids into the woods no matter what we are doing I always tell them to whisper.

My friend Jason and I used to do this at his farmhouse. They had a banded farmhouse in the back which we turned into a deer blind.
