I think it was Ted Dibiase that told a story about him and Andre in a crowded elevator in Japan Andre let one rip and when the elevator stopped and the doors opened all the passengers ran off the elevator.
Rick Martel tells a story that Andre had this gadget that made realistic long fart sounds and he would use it to shock people and he mentioned he liked doing it on elevators. I wonder if this is the case here. If it was that bad you would think DiBiase would have bailed too.

I heard that story years ago on an MLW radio podcast, they piped in the sound effect from Princess Bride that Andre says “Everybody Move!” I thought I was going to die. One of the best laughs of my life.

I remember an in-ring segment with Ken an Bobby heenan. Ken was just out of prison.
he was doing a promo with heenan. (Ken's the sympathetic apologetic face and Heenan
was 'suprise!' the heel.) this was before I knew anything about kayfabe. anyway, I noticed
when Ken was talking that Bobby's lips were mouthing Patera's lines. I remember being
confused. not understanding how "the brain" knew what Ken was saying as he was saying
it. obviously, Bobby had both sets of lines memorized for the segment and wasn't aware
he was moving his lips. although I've never heard it addressed it could've been Bobby trying
to help Ken remember his lines. knowing Heenan the helping thing seems more logical.

Ken Patera was the best!! I hated that guy so much back then. He did the greatest job and act. I was a kid and I thought it was real. Honestly, they did better work back then. There would have never been a good guy without bad guys like him! Patera was also one of the strongest people on the planet!

When Ken Patera was with AWA in 89/90 he came to my school for a match. Beforehand he was working out in the weight room and according to some of the students who were in there with him he was warming up with 350 pounds.
