2022 Great Horned Owl baby

This is one of a pair of Great Horned Owl babies. The kids are just starting to become interested in hunting. They are spending more time on the ground, but they still expect to be fed by their parents, and can be very vocal about it.
(This video was taken with a long lens from a hiking path, so it might look like I was close, but I was not. It is important to give wildlife space to...well...be wildlife. If you get to close, you can stress things out, which could mean babies don't get fed and end up with a slimmer chance of survival.)
