Back in the olden days they used cigar tabacco in chicken coops to kill mites....FYI. it works! Just get a box of cigars and rip up the cigars and throw them around the coup.
During rainy periods, just place a container with dirt where it can't get wet and let them use that. They will use it. I would spray the dirt box as well with the garlic juice you made.
This video was from a year a go. Did you manage to eradicate the mites with your natural solution? I'll be getting chickens soon, so I'm also after natural methods to common chicken problems. Thx

Thanks for this Natural method

I’d say by and large this work and it is great at prevention. If the infestation is too bad it won’t work. Everything did clear up for us though.
Recipe for the spray please?? :)
If I don't have clove or lemon balm, can I still make the juice with the remaining ingrediants? I only have lavendar and mint EOs
Apologies for my delay! Yes this will work without those 2. Give it a whirl!
Does it work against lice too?
Garlic, garlic juice, clove, and lavender oils?
Did this work long term?
It will get rid of them but you have to use it regularly.
How much of each do you use?
Sorry for my delayed response! This is where I am not good. I don’t use recipes 🤣. I used a lot of garlic. Approximately 2 heads in that bottle.
😂😂😂 10 days straight of rain... it was awful... Come to Oregon friends, come to Oregon. 🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧
Yeah - we get a lot of rain for the southeast. I’m sure it doesn’t compare to where you are though! We get about 60” a year or so.
