    Very satisfying to watch...can't wait for a new number one in pickleball. I was proud of AL taking the loss like a mature human and not sulking and storming off.

    The point at 9:40 is a perfect example of why Anna Bright is winning with Daescu and not James. Andrei and Anna are SO GOOD at digging out of points they're losing.

    Daescu and Bright really locked down with their defense and leveled up their play. They utilized the third player on the court very well. (The Wind). More exposure to wind during practice can help reactions and play.

    • @greenbox00000
      @greenbox00000 7 месяцев назад +6

      Daescu deserves a lot of credit; it's not just Ben having off days. Daescu has great patience, fundamentals, defense, soft game and counters. That style of play completely neutralizes any opponent. Go rewatch Daescu/Tardio beating the Johns to see. And you also need a great partner to hold up their side of the court.
      BJ and ALW are excellent, but imo have been playing sub-par competition for a long time. New wave of better players coming for them.
