growing up in the 70s/80s and even to this day... we never rinsed dishes before putting them in... we scraped..that's it..Everything always comes out clean...the ONLY things I rinse are raw or cooked egg and raw meat juices... that's it...nothing else gets rinsed.
Just got mine installed today 😃 it’s replacing a 16 year old Frigidaire. Question, once the cycle has started, can you open the door in case you forgot to add a cup or something?
Yes, just hit start again before closing.
I have the exact same model. Can't figure out how to configure the remote start feature. The App keeps telling me the remote start is turned off... even after trying to turn it on sevral times. Overall, great dishwasher
You press the button on the dishwasher and it counts down and enables you to use the app. Unfortunately you have to do it every time you want to use it, it’s not like the washer and dryer I have when I can start those at any time
so does one need to open door to visually see status when running as controls are hidden?
No, there's a timer on the front and it says END when it's done.
How has it been?
I have been very happy with it. I would purchase it again.

Can you share your thoughts on this dishwasher now after almost 10 months from uploading this video?
I am still very happy with our dishwasher. We clear out the filter monthly and we fill it with jet dry every so often. We don't have to rinse dishes before putting them in. The steam feature works really well. It has not melted any plastic containers.
The thing we don't like are the wine glass holders on the second drawer since we never use them.
Overall if we had a choice we would buy it again.

The dry cycle works pretty well when you give it enough time. If you do a quick wash, then the dishes will come out wet. Overnight dry seems to be the key. We usually start the dishes when we go to bed and they are ready for us in the morning. It's pretty quiet so we don't even hear it running. If a bowl flips over and gets full of water, then it will still be wet no matter how long you give it.
Ive never understood why a dishwasher needs a remote start feature. Who loads the dishwasher and then just...leaves?
It’s helpful for me because I have free nights electricity, so I run all heavy machines at 8pm so when I clean during the day I can start it at night. They also have features you can send to the dishwasher, like dry only, but you have to use the remote features for it.

There's a Turbo clean for fast washing, but your dishes will not be dry once it's done.
I use heavy but it does not dry the dishes, top rack is so wet even though I use extra dry already,is this same as yours?
@@tracyxia7341 Mine dries pretty well. I also use JetDry to help the dry cycle

I believe quick wash is on the latest model, it is a 1 hour clean
