Hi Sarah, What size are the eggs please? Thanks x
So Glad I found this video.....I will be making the boots for my gnomes now....Thanks for the inspiration.....And Thanks for sharing .....🥰🥰👍
So adorable how can I get all of your gnome shoe patterns. I will need to enlarge because my 2 gnomes are 26" sitting. and feet are about 4.5" x 2.5" 🙂. I love to change the outfits per season too. Thank You
The entire set is available here: shop.rufflesandrainboots.com/product/gnome-boot-and-shoe-patterns/ :)
I purchased the patterns for the shoes yesterday and in the directions you used Easter eggs but you don't say what size? There are small, medium and large eggs. I have the large.
You can absolutely use whatever size, but DON'T cut the pattern until you see how much bigger the base needs to be. The sizing of the eggs I used were likely "medium" because they were the traditional sized eggs.
Love it. So glad I found you. My coworker and I are gonna make gnome christmas orniments with a fair theme since we work for a fairground
Oooh, share them with me on Facebook when you get them done! I bet they are going to be adorable.
You make the cutest little shoes for the gnomes!
I'd wear those!!! Gorgeous
What can I use if I can't find the plastic eggs? I found the cups at the dollar store.
You can definitely try the cups, maybe cut them down a bit? Also, I've used the Dollar Tree foam balls cut in half (they are just about / under 2 inches).
These r too CUTE! LOVE 'em! ❤ Queen of the Gnomes!! TFS, my friend!⚘
Thank you, Connie! 🤗 And "Queen of the Gnomes" - I need to make myself a shirt! LOL
Graciaspor enseñarme esto tan divino, gracias estoy feliz
I love them
At last...a use for those plastic Easter eggs after Easter......Great Idea!!!
Over load cuteness 😍
What is the name of the stuff that goes around the shoe pleas
At the top? That's sherpa fleece and is available at Joann's and Michael's craft stores. Sometimes fabric stores call it lamb's wool fleece. If that's not what you meant, let me know.
👍👍👏👏👏👍🥰
Hi Sarah! I hope ur have a great start to ur weekend💞🥰. These r so super cute & from ur lil hint I can’t wait to see the gnome these shoes/boots belong to💞🥰. Love hugs blessings & prayers, Donna
So cute and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing x
I'm so glad you liked it, Janet. Thank you very much for watching and being here with me.
Gracias por tus ideas. Felicidades!🤩
Can’t find those little eggs listed? Ty
I have many ways to make shoes and boots (I'll put the playlist below), but if you can't find the eggs, it might be good to start with a small Styrofoam ball for the toe (no more than 1.5 inches, probably more like 1.2) and a K-cup for the ankle. Here are a few more ideas: ruclips.net/video/EHRcLn5Hoyo/видео.html
Bello🥰

Closed captioning can be turned on, however, I do not translate into Russian. I'm sorry, but it's too expensive.
Where is the pattern for the boots????
All pattern links can be found in the description box below the video. This pair is part of this big set: shop.rufflesandrainboots.com/product/gnome-boot-and-shoe-patterns/
I'm a francophone from Canada, I have just discovered you ♥...
Really I'm amazed, my English is not very good, but your videos are so well demonstrated and so well explained ... pure happiness♥.
Thank you for sharing with us !
Wow, thank you! And it's so nice to have you here, Nathalie. I hope you find some fun tutorials for crafting.
Oh, shoot! Might have to get shoe pattern too! These are so cute! As always......
Thank you sooooo much. I'm new to this craft and I find your directions are the easiest to follow and they are so finished looking. Thank you for your guidance.
Thank you so much for the sweet compliments, Karen. If you ever want to see something particular, just let me know. I have so much fun making these tutorials. :)
Hello love your video I haven’t got the plastic eggs could I use little polystyrene balls cut them in half thank you
Yes, in fact one of my patterns uses those for the front of boots. Depending on the type of foam, you might need a lo-temp glue gun. But they will definitely work!
You can even use K-cup pods (cut them down quite a bit and add poly fill to the toe or run some Duct tape from the bottom to round off the front).
they are adorable, I just love them.. you make it look so easy an I'm going to make some for the gnomes I'm making this year.. tyfs!!!...this is by far the best tutorial I have watched, an I have watch plenty...thanks again !
Wow, thank you so much, Susie. Let me know if you have any questions (and these are my favorite boots, too). ;)
You said you used fabric glue, can't find it in your supplies list. What kind did you use?
I use fabric hot glue (I just pick it up on Amazon) but if I've run out, the "Gorilla" glue hot glue is amazing.
Excelente esta genial
Wonderful...were the pattern please....I have no printer need send to a friend to print...hurt my hip last week ...no crafting for a few more days...good I didn't break it...gr gr...I have glue cups for my fingers..hate them...love your videos ..xox
Oh no, I hope you are recovering well, Linda. Once you're all better, here's the pattern: shop.rufflesandrainboots.com/product/gnome-boot-and-shoe-patterns/
@@SarahNenniDaher thank you...you are the best!!!!..
You are my new favorite person to follow🥰🥰
Oh wow, thank you, Allena. :) What a compliment and I hope to be able to bring so much more. Thank you for following and let me know if I can help with anything.
Those boots are sweet!
What size gnome body would you use for these boots? Thanks!
These are going on a gnome I'll be sharing in just a little bit. He's 14-inches with the boots, so I'd say if you don't want to add "legs," a 9-15 inch gnome would be best.
Really glad I got the all the patterns of all the shoes from you. Thank you for sharing and now have to start making some for myself 😀
Well, thank you for picking up the patterns, Kathy. And I'd LOVE to see what you make with them - just share them with me on Facebook (ruffles and rain boots). :) I am so inspired by you all.
adorable
Is there a substitute for the eggs if it’s not Easter?
Yes, you can use k-cup pods (just shorten the open end), cough syrup cups, or even the Jell-o shot cups you can get in bulk on Amazon. :)
Where do you get the pattern can’t find it
Brenda, The patterns are here: shop.rufflesandrainboots.com/product/gnome-boot-and-shoe-patterns/
Really cute. How do you use these to make a standing gnome? I'm not sure how to attach to the rounded surface.
Kim McCoy, once you finish the shoes and complete the top of it, glue shoes together(watch her other shoe video with the shoes pattern, she shows there details on where to glue) then you just apply glue to the bottom of your gnome and place it on top of your set of shoes.
Perfect response, Linda.
Kim, I will show you when I get the little guy I shared on the community page finished (he's armless at the moment...). There are a few ways I attach gnomes and honestly, it all depends on the body type. If you're a subscriber, I'll be sharing a few more gnomes soon (and quite a few more pairs of shoes).
I Love the shoes, but I don’t see the pattern. Help Please
Mary, were you able to find the pattern for these? I will always put the patterns in the description box below the video. I'll make sure it's there after I drop it here.

Do you need a cutting machine to do the pattern for the boots?
Nope, you can get the pattern with the SVG files or the one without. Here is the pattern link without the cut files (printable pattern): shop.rufflesandrainboots.com/product/gnome-boot-and-shoe-patterns/
