Absolutely love mine, I tried them all and in my opinion it’s the best super sports out there at the moment. The people who slate it because of the headlights etc haven’t a clue what they are talking about. You can keep your fancy modern LED’s but I’ll have the biggest smile and that’s what real biking is all about.

@@mattymotorcycle1713 I also had a 2010 I sold it due to transmission problems does your shift into neutral easily still?
@@Christian-xc9bh i own a 18 RF. Answer is no. But that's normal because of the racing transmission it has. It is enough to slightly push forward with your legs the bike and put the neutral while bike is still slightly moving.
Dude - the e is silent 😂 but thank you for such a great review - the rsv4 is my personal favourite super bike... constant evolution, a wsbk winning chassis and the best in components - it’s the second best super bike and one of the least expensive IMO... (new s1k is the best but I don’t like inline fours generally)
Nobody heard of aprilia? well, maybe in the US. I can tell you it's a different story in Europe :)

Only the factory is an 1100. The standard RSV4 is still a 1000 for racing purposes.

Ahhhh. Some corrections there. That's not an akra system. The headers/collector is MODELLED from an akra evo2, but believe me, it's not an akra system.
It's just an Akrapovic slip on.

Akrapovic is so expensive tho, for this bike the best exhausts are from austing racing or scproject..

I think Ducati, BMW, Honda and Kawasaki are the way to go right now. With Honda being strictly for people who have something against cruise control. If Aprilia front end didn't look like it's from the 90s and if they didn't lose half of their value in 3 years it would be a contender.
i have to say the frame looks outdated as well. looks like the same frame they had since forever. modern frames look like separate two parts with engine / gearbox completing it in the middle. this looks like one uniform piece that you could remove the engine and gearbox and nothing would change. basically the middle part of the frame does nothing - just wasted material. these Aprilia V4s were attractive before Ducati came out with their own V4s now there is no point - might as well get the Ducati - and live without a stock Akra exhaust :)
@@g1981c bro, you don't know nothing about frame technology. Aprilia is known for the excelence in their frames, you can't say the same for Ducati.
@@pedgarage yeah i know Ducati had problems my point is Aprilia needs a styling refresh - from the frame to headlights everything just looks dated. it's like that dash on the BMW K1600 - it may be functional but it looks dated.
They don't change the frame because it is still the best frame in the market and the only one built for racing before the road bike came out :) Ducati frame is so good people always complains it is so difficoult to corner with them
R snikwad drop a link to prove your claim on that one. Not saying your wrong I just don't think you are, also do you own one? I have the rr so I can't speak for the Rf directly.
it is a full akra system... it is NOT the full "RACE" system.... thats the tricky part

I couldn’t agree more what a great bike great company. The Exhaust is not a full system just end can dude
