Shuras are demi gods of war that have become so consumed by bloodlust that they endlessly fight everything for the rest of their lives. It's still wolf's outfit, but he's consumed by fire and a lust for violence. Like how he was on fire in the shura ending. It also somewhat looks like he has the look of his sculptor outfit like in the severance ending too.

They’re not making a BB2 and if you understood how much of a masterpiece the first game was you’d understand that there doesn’t need to be a second. Miyazaki doesn’t even like doing sequels. DS2 wasn’t done by him and he game back for DS3 to give the series closure. As of late last year he even said that they weren’t working on it lmao. It’s not happening

it's amazing how you can replicate almost all of owl's attacks and ofc you can because you learned from him, I'm fighting with him using the shuriken, purple firecrackes and mist raven, I counter his attacks with my own version of his own attacks

The key to this fight is to tap r1 slow, i.e. hit him again when you see you've hit him or you see he's blocked your attack, else if you mash r1 the mist raven destroys you esp with no kuro's charm.
Exactly. It was annoying to adjust because the first iteration you can just attack 2-3 times then prepare to parry and rinse and repeat. Once I slowed down my attacks I was able to clear him.

Yeah he was the biggest pain in the ass because he only has 2 punishable attacks if you don’t spend spirit emblems and he can feint them if you try to dodge too early and your dodge recovery window is too long to deflect them if he does

Surprised you didn't punish his perilous sweep roll! That usually always gets me a few hits in after I jump out of the way. But yeah beating Inner Owl without making a single mistake...nicely done.
To complete this venture means mastery of ones self and sprit. Ongbal I Envy you as a man who has mastered the mind. To not complete this fight means that you need to endure hard work. And the struggle for me is a beast in my mind. For anyone that wants to achieve greatness, follow the path of the indestructible mind. On my first playthrough I decided to go for purification ending and owl father kicked my ass for like 4 hours combined. I’m on NG+5 now, and I killed Inner Father first try!! Really proud in myself
Damn I missed his second set of mist raven based attacks, and he never spammed the the mist raven to double slash for me, only did it once and started taking hits from me after that :(
Impressive ONGBAL. But please why don’t u make a tutorial on how to master that perfect parry especially with no kuro’s charm. It’s a nightmare because if u don’t perfect parry, u get nailed. Please show us the secret
The only way this could have been cooler was if occassionally you had used the Sakura Dance art. Does vit and posture damage on sweeps, and can even lightning reversal. Still, a great fight, and I think Inner Father is my favorite fight in the game, even moreso than Owl Father.

All the inner bossfights are so good, but this one just might be my favorite.
There's something about a boss that can use moves that you have, it really appeals to me.
Owl father has always been my favorite boss other than isshin but the inner version seems even better. Just gotta practice the shura gauntlet.

Once you meet them for the first time, you can go to Reflection of Strength to practice without having to run the gauntlet.
I really loved that Shura skin. It really gives me Dark Souls vibes.

This is now EASILY my favorite fight in the game, and this might be my favorite NO HUD ONGBAL Sekiro related video.
