If you really want to go that route, half the rappers who claim a certain city would be considered frauds. Bottom line, if you spent your formative years in a place, that's where you from. For example, Usher was born in TX, most people think he's from ATL, but he claims Chattanooga, TN because that's where he was from age 1-12. I mention him because he will literally correct an interviewer on the spot when they say he's "from" Atlanta.
So if Dolph moved to Memphis at 2 and DaBaby moved to Charlotte at 5, that's where they're from because they grew up there.
