    To make it healthier the only change I made was I added half of barley flour ( jau flour) and half sooji .. rest dear Kunal Kapoor’s recipe.. it was yumm .. always turn to KK’s recipes which suit my taste and availability of ingredients.. Thanks a ton

    The chutney for Idli should be a little watery (thin) so that you can eat comfortably, whereas with Dosa it should be thick😋

    In the end during tadka do we have to add raw urad dal or soaked one? As raw one would be difficult to eat in the chutney.

    We add mustard first and once they start cracking, we add Red Chillies and Curry Leaves. That brings in the taste.
