@@buff_panda Yeah, but the channel is still about the Pacific War. Having a historical Japanese map, propaganda or otherwise doesn't seem inappropriate. It's like saying the Katana is inappropriate cause Japanese committed war crimes with Katana's sometimes. I mean showing a Nazi flag in an academic context doesn't mean the person supports Nazism. I am not trying to be rude, I simply don't get the problem.
@@TheNovaFiends by your logic, why not display a Nazi flag? a confederate flag? a KKK flag? it's all history, right? the Katana? -- WTF were you talking about???
Great video. The Chinese Revolution and greater warlord period are one of the most undercovered events in English media, and I really think it's due for so much more
@@ThePacificWarChannel Do you have any recommendations for reading in english about the era? I've been interested but there doesn't seem to be much before the Northern Expedition

This video was great! It really helped me understand much more about the Xinhai Revolution 1911. I really think your channel is worth while watching! Is there any chance you have an episode about Opium war as well? I would be very interested in that!
I am ALL about the Opium wars. I have an episode on the first Opium War & the second Opium war on this channel and over at the Kings and Generals Age of Conquest Podcast I do a multi part series on them
Hey what did you think of the episode? Please let us know in the comments below!
The map behind you is distasteful. I dare you to display the map of German-occupied Europe.
Why not put up the rising sun flag while you're at it!
@@buff_panda Are you for real? Having a historical map on a channel dedicated to the history of that era is distasteful?
@@TheNovaFiends look it up, it's a “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” map. japanese militarism, japanese imperialism - propaganda.

The Warlord period is going to be a very difficult episode, but its coming right after WW1 episodes!

Hallo! Ich war viele monate in Deutschland.
Ich kann "beginner level Deutsch" sprechen haha.
At 12:17 you talk about Prince Qing being replaced as PM, but show a picture of Prince Chun.
What movies or videos were showed in the video I couldn’t find it in the description
Movie used throughout is called "1911"
It's insane to think that China's last Emporer was 2 years old
Persia had a teenage emperor. He was the last of the Qajar Dynasty.
@@Infodmational_Comparison being a teenager is still older than a literal baby
@@oliversherman2414 Of course.
I believe the last Emperor of the Western Roman Empire was a child and look how that turned out.
What film or series are the clips from?
Most of of the clips are from "1911" staring Jackie Chan

Wrong flag. 🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼
Chose to use the Beiyang flag and the Qing Dynasty banner. I assume you would rather the Tongmenghui/ Kuomintang flag?
