As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

He called me out and said he was using T not D and that he doesn't speak on God's name like that or some nonsense and then the next breath says it at least 3 more times right after like it was a joke. My ears just can't take it. I unsubscribed and pray you share Jesus with him. Maybe you have a loving chat with him about how awful it is using the Lords name in vain continuously.

You’re absolutely wrong. People are manipulative and if you are already in a position to have to call someone out , their instincts WILL be to deflect and pretend you’re a bully.
      It’s a classic move
“Oh if you really loved me you would accept me “
“If you really loved me you’d call me out exactly how I want and say it bubbly , even if I pushed your boundaries for months and walk all over you when you are nice to me”
Some people need to be called out bluntly . These same people will take advantage of your kindness indefinitely. You assume their maturity and speak with clarity but they just brush it off. So you can either walk away and let them feel right or sometimes if you are being walked all over you are blunt and then they will finally get it but still be a coward and pretend like they would have listened if you said it any other way .
No one should be offended by the truth . Blunt truth isn’t offensive u less you are insecure and childish . I rather hear a blunt and direct truth .
I don’t need to be wasting time being catered to like I’m a child, if someone is direct they are doing a favor. If someone is dancing around the obvious because they fee the truth has to be hinted at softly then they are dealing with a problematic immature person .

I’m almost 30 and I have been married for 11 years (We were teen parents who chose to get married).
Me submitting to my husband isn’t “yes, master.. whatever you say.”
It’s more like, I know he cares about me, wants what is best for me, and is grounded and gives good advice.. so I say, “Babe what do you think I should do?”
    And then I do that.
If he asks me not to do something, I understand he has a good reason. If he feels strong conviction about something, I don’t belittle him.

These podcasts are not helpful to women at all! These men use Christian talking points to shame women. The bros, often skip over the text that unction them to be good, faithful, providing husband. Why, because they don't truly believe in the scripture. I have debated quite a few of these men online and they usually don't even believe in God. They think the gospel is foolish overall except when it comes to condemning women. I've been told by these very same men that they aren't Christian, they're agnostic or atheist.
The way that Melanie King woman yelled at her and called her out of her name was the most unchristian thing one can do when trying to minister to a young believer. Her blue wig is a modern woman's problem but Melanies fake boobs, fake butt, and lip injections are what exactly?

That’s true, sadly. This isn’t a perfect world; it’s stained by sin and our behavior isn’t the way God wants it to be. Submitting to a husband who loves you like Christ loves the Church is not an issue at all, the problems arise when men *and* women both are acting in their own self interest and with pride. It makes it highly problematic for both to fill the role God wants them to fill; to be selfless and Christ-like. If the husband is acting like a fool and not a man, the wife will find it difficult to submit Biblically. If the wife is being a goober then the husband will have a hard time stepping up and loving her. It’s a synergy.

I half way agree with you and here’s why. Scripture doesn’t tell us to submit when it seems right to you. It says to do it period. When it addresses husbands it doesn’t speak on how to treat the wife in the way that seems right to him because he’s flawed. It says to do it period. But first the submission should be unto God. If a man is not acting in the word he will be held accountable and you don’t just follow along with ungodliness (Acts 5) but submit to your husband because it’s the order that God created and in the garden things went out of order when the woman left that submission and was deceived, and Adam was not loving his wife or making her blameless to thethe Lord by following her in sin hence why it’s called Adam’s sin. Someone’s response to sin with sin is not a good reason to sin so being a “boss woman” whether a response or not still is the attitude of feminism which is ungodly. Just like God said we have to forgive because he has forgiven us. Anyone who is not forgiving will not get forgiveness from him. That can suck at times, but we do it because it’s correct. Hard for sure but correct thing to do. Where the full agreement is at is where Men need to do better. MTR is an immoral man, and a lot of culture lead by men is immoral and ungodly. These men will be held accountable and it won’t be good for them when that day of punishment comes, that’s why we need Christ

Melanie King wasn’t prescribing her Scripture tho. She was leveraging misquoted Scripture as a platform of authority for her to speak. She said younger women should listen to older women; Titus 2, which she’s referencing describes the requirements for an older woman to be teaching younger women. She says “women should submit to men”; Eph 5, Col 3, 1 Cor 7 are in the context of marriage. Not that you shouldn’t sometimes submit to sound advice from other men, but those passages are about marriage
Also not sure that’s gracious towards the blue-haired rapper. There are many that say “Lord! Lord!” but don’t live it, but when she replied “some have,” I’m not sure if she was saying some men have taken her home and called her wifey or some men have wifed up her friends as godly boss babes. Even if it’s her, some men do go around saying “God told me you’re my wife” after Bible study. Crazy. Not saying she isn’t sleeping around for sure 🤷🏾‍♂️ If she is, she goes repent and desist
I agree with Ruslan that King ain’t living it out, she probably can’t give the right advice in a precise way either way

When you respect someone, you naturally value their opinion, are willing to compromise, nurture them, see them grow, do things for them, etc. The fact that most women are so triggered by the word "submit", shows that they have never been loved correctly and it's sad.

I agree and I think there’s such an misunderstanding and imbalance between the genders on submission. Instead if us getting married and having kids, she decided that she wanted to be a “strong independent woman.” Our relationship got super toxic and a big headache literally overnight. When I decided to walk away for my sanity, she joined Tinder and started bouncing from dude to dude for one nighters to prove her “sexual liberation.” Towards the end of our relationship, I could literally see her turn from a light-hearted, loving woman, to a type of darkness about her personality.

Many times, when we present scripture, we have a tendency or our Words and how it comes out can cut like a two edge sword!! If we can get to a space where we can give Truth (scriptural) without pointing, the finger will come across as a place of wisdom. This allows an individual to digest that wisdom and let the Word of God do what it does!! The Bible says, "spread the ggod news of the Kingdom!" People already know who they are don't really want to hear their faults! Following with love and not judging allows a person to open up and receive or not. For example, telling people they're sinners and going to hell is not a good message or good news!! Know one wants to talk to another person when the finger is being pointed at them!! That's the majority of us!! Ego is always tripping and is not our friend. If we come with a different approach, most likely, people are willing to have that conversation. Sharing with people how much God cares for them is a much better way to have that conversation. The Bible tells us the His Word corrects!! Share it with folks and let the Word do the correcting of self!! Don't come or go to people with a rod of whipping people. Let God do what He do with them in love!!

Glad you covered this! I was a bit taken back by this clip when I first saw it. I actually watched Melanie King for a bit last year but opted out. Red pill creators that try to use Biblical principles to argue that women should submit always misrepresent scripture. Any Christian who is saying a wife should not submit to her husband or a woman should not submit to church leaders is clearly trippin. But using Scripture to convince women to generally submit to men is incorrect.
Also, I don't know the reason for Ms. King's divorce, but I always thought it weird that her whole schtick was relationships but hers seemingly failed. Seems like you would want to clarify that and qualify yourself as an expert first, but I don't think many people do. Then again maybe she covered it in a video I didn't watch 🤷🏿‍♀️
Anyhoo, thanks for all you are doing with this channel! I love when I see your reaction to a video I've watched!

When you rebuke someone, it should come from a place of love not in anger or pride. I just got the feeling that she thinks she's learned it all and now she is the teacher. We all fall short of the glory of God. We should never get to a point where we think we know it all. Jesus hung out with the sinners not the saints because they were the ones that needed his love and guidance. He didn't get in their face and yell how wrong they were. He did get in the faces of the pharisees and the"religious leaders" because they thought that they knew it all. I felt sorry for the blue haired girl. ❤

What if The experience is already there?
What if someone is saying "I've done it before and FAILED" and I now know where i failed. And that's the experience I'm giving you now.
Wisdom is found in the counsel of many.
If we vet everyone by their ability to follow without Ever falling short, "There is None Righteous. No not One".
I do agree though, Wives should submit to their OWN Husbands. Not all men.
I also know What one Practices is what One ultimately Perfects.
Melanie is Emotional because she's Tired of seeing the African American/ Black community Falling fiercely by the Wayside and ultimately becoming Shameless.
That's all that's going on. In the Black community there is an underlying Rule that says "Mind Your Business" so this keeps the Older women with Good and Godly intentions from advising the younger ones.
Don't say nothing to my Children
Don't tell me how to be a good Woman. Look at your life. Your marriage didn't work. So you can't tell me nothing.
Then if it is someone who has a Long-term Successful Marriage, they deem/Label them as Old Fashioned and declare to the Older woman that What worked yesterday may not work Today.
Now my brother the main reason I'm sharing this with you as I am of said community, is because Rebellion has no Race or Ethnicity barriers. I'm seeing this same mindset infection filtering into other Communities as well, through politics and Social media and the SJW.
We are called to be an Offense not a Defense. Meaning we don't just stand, we March for The Glory of God's Kingdom ON EARTH as it is In HEAVEN.
Joshua Marched and the Walls of Jericho FELL.
We are called to be an Offense.
Have a Plan and Execute said plan to demonstrate the Power and Love of the Almighty.
Jesus was Offensive, not Vulgar, not heartless, but none of this should make us forget that He still Told it like it was/is.
Jesus: You are of your Father the Devil.
    Jesus: You brood of Vipers
    Jesus: You Hypocrites
Jesus: My Father's Temple is supposed to be a House of Prayer, But You have turned into a Den of Thieves(As He proceeded to whip the violators and chased them out)
    Offense my Brother Not DEFENSE
You can Defend the Gospel from Misinterpretation but Your Life/Existence as a Believer is to be an Offense.

(Ephesians 5:22) “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:25) “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it;” (Ephesians 5:33) “Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”
This particular scripture is referring to what should be done in marriage. Of course, the way you treat others should be a reflection of Christ, but women should not be submitted to all men, only their husbands.

One thing I don’t understand. She said “what man is taking you home and calling you his wife?” My mind jumped to “That doesn’t make sense.” If “take you home” means what I think it means, from a bar to do you know what, then no man “taking you home” is your husband and so he wouldn’t call you his wife. I don’t know if she was trying to say that or if she was trying to make some dig at Cardi B.

I think a lot of these Red pillers often quote scripture without really knowing the Bible fam. These people don’t take into account that traditionally and culturally, women weren’t allowed in positions where they were FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT WITHOUT MEN.
So when they hear things like “Women being finically independent” or “A woman who’s a Boss Snitch” and they correlate it to the Bible and how men were the providers, they are ignorant of the time and culture of the Bible vs modern day culture.
Men and women that have a traditional, biblical world view end up in a weird position in modern positions. Oftentimes men, find their IDENTITY in being the sole providers (like they were in biblical times) but the truth is being a man is more than being able to provide financially for your family!

I think for the most part your correct about if you ain't living it you don't know. But life has ups and downs. I Kno a lot of things now because of mistakes.. we all do. We Kno what hurts and feels good.. a lot of the time by mistakes. Sometimes you give all you got into a relationship with family, gfs/bfs, friends, team, school, job ect.. and it's them in the wrong. So you learn something new. Advice from a bum doesn't make it worthless. Jesus didn't look like a powerful King or a God of unimaginable power! Knowledge often comes from experiences good ànd bad. Your not smarter, better or happier because your rich. Your just more selfish most likely.

So, what kind of knowledge did Paul have, because he nor Jesus were ever married. Yet, they both gave advice on marriage. Obviously, we understand Jesus has all knowledge, but Paul was very human. I can agree that the majority of people would not be called to give this kind of counseling/advice, but there are def those that are called to do it, though they have no “experience” in the matter.

Not everyone is meant to marry, you will Find that in Mathew. Paul talked about it, he said ideally that people should be like him, chaste and unmarried. I want to say you will find that in Romans or Corinthians. He also talks about submission, but what more does he say, about how men should treat their wifes? To love them as Christ loves the Church. I am not married not meant to be in so far either by Gods will or by decisions I have made, also found in Matthew. So if I were a minister, so long as I talked about marriage as it is explained in scripture, I can talk about it. Scripture is clear. It is written as it was said by our Lord Jesus Christ “Love one and other as I have loved you” , how exquisite.

My issue with the “Red Pill” space isn’t necessarily in the points but the fact those points are used as ammo towards women they see as egregious but these same people aren’t married, believe in 50/50 financial responsibility while wanting submission, and many of them are sexually undisciplined.
