I have watched and admired Pope Francis. He is not good at concealing his feelings. You can tell who he likes and who he disdains. He likes President Obama.
May the example of Pope Francis influence leaders like him. God bless the Pope. God bless the world leaders so that all of them learn to serve the people.
Every time I hear President Obama speak it always seems like he is fishing in his brain for the next descriptive word to say about something or someone. I think he is afraid to say the wrong thing & be bombarded by outraged viewers.
I wonder how broken a person needs to be to say to himself one day "I want to be president" or "I want to be a priest". Some part of their humanity, at some point, must have been destroyed to get to that point. It is very sad.

I know that public speaking can be difficult, even for the president, but that doesn't mean it's any less annoying to hear such awkward pauses. I thought Obama got better at extemporaneous delivery in his second term, I guess I was wrong.
