I love how this character is so fucking broken, but he's badass enough that nobody cares we're just having fun using him.

@@lostkaz2886 The people complaining about Kazuya need to think about the fact that he's only a menace if given to the right player, Riddles is a prime example of that. Not everybody is gonna be a menace the moment they try to play him, and they'll need days of practice first. How long does it take to learn other DLC like Sephiroth or Sora, hours maybe? Sephiroth is a BOSS ffs so of course he gets all the cool and OP stuff. Unlike Kazuya, those characters are great at both distancing themselves and air combos, meaning that Kazuya's best chance of winning is if he fights at close range and if he stays on stage. IMO most of the DLC sword fighters are OP as fuck for absolutely no reason and Kazuya players will have a hard time fighting them at close range. Yes, I'll admit that Kazuya hits a little too hard sometimes but he's a tank character with slow startups so it compensates for his lack of speed and mobility in the air (looking at you Sora).

Great guides as always. Found something interesting with Kazuya. While in rage mode. If you are hanging on edge of the stage. And grab opponent with down b. You don't lose your rage ability.
When airborne, you don’t use rage woth down b

it took me until now (like 4 months...) i figured it out.
it was my controller.
when i would flick the C stick down. it would fly back up to another position ( like 7 8 and 9) while it was resetting to neutral (5).
today i was like "i know the gamecube is harder for me but why dont i try it."
and the C stick on this controller is extremely stiff stopping it from moving passed the neutral position (5) to another input (4, 6, 7, 8, and 9).
thank god. hopefully if someone sees this they can take what happened to me into consideration.
Try your other controllers.

Up doesn’t seem to work, in frame by frame, up fails to cancel it, also, you have to either go to neutral position for a frame or go to a diag and go to neutral if you don’t go to neutral position. Crouch dash, from what I tested, is cancellable on frame 3, actionable on 4, as a frame is needed to cancel the move. If done on the same frame, it doesn’t cancel

You really need to include pad input ui. OBS has quite a few tools for this.
