Thank you Connor. I have been hitting flat returns which have a low margin of error crossing the net. Learning the top spin will almost guarantee a return of serve every time. Constantly learning new techniques of pickleball. This is huge benefit in increasing my game. Excellent explanation and terrific video.
Awesome vid. I alternate between hitting really good topspin drives that dip over the net to driving them right into the net. Hopefully focusing on these techniques helps me sort this out. Thanks!
Good info to learn the topspin. A caveat. You stated you are using your wrist for the windshield wiper forehand topspin shot but you are not. Your wrist is locked throughout and you are using supination of the forearm for the forehand topspin shot. You could be breaking the wrist, aka using it, at the end of the backhand topspin shot while using pronation of the forearm to achieve the topspin. MTC
Especially on your demonstration of a drop shot , your paddle face looks slightly open at contact, definitely not a closed face. Is this what we should strive for? Are you using the continental grip for this shot?

Awesome! You are on the right track.
Practicing with two-tone balls (from Gamma) is also a good way to see if you are getting topspin (or any spin for that matter).
This is just want I needed Connor. I just received your paddle today and ready to drill some top spin shots today!
Awesome! You are going to love it.
Connor is a fantastic instructor!!!

Excellent teaching the topspin especially the serve versus the resets vs the dinking. And the roll - thank you
Of course
Very helpful. Thanks your video ❤
You're welcome 😊
Great explanations. I would like to have seen the ball path on the topspin drops from the side or from hitter's view, in addition to receiver's view.
I will add that to my list of things to cover in a follow-up.
Using a multi-coloured pickleball can help to visualise the spin generated as the ball rotates in the air.
we'll do that next time :)
