Patti Austin singing straight from the heart, not missing a beat, and Rachelle Farrell's vocals are other worldly. The band and other vocalists, harmonies and accompaniment, simply fantastic!
Rachelle's vocals, of course, are ridiculously stellar, but Patti was something else. Back stage talking to a friend, comes out and takes the mic and kills it without even trying. Sick!
George Duke is giving that piano all he's got. His face is full of joy throughout. Then tRachelle is just showing off her incredible talents. Go head ON!

Above them both I would rather joy, which is not contingent on exterior factors like I feel happiness is and the blues. Having said that however I love musical expressions of them both.
Wonderful singer! Didn't knew her before. But I heard George - decades before (first with Zappa when I was about 18 - know I'm 56 - and Zappa was best with George). I really grieve for this multi talented genius. I don't believe in god - but: god bless George Duke. Honestly - I love you
Man, this shows how good jazz can be. I used to listen to George Duke back in the 70's during his fusion days. Great to hear him play some blues. And the vocalists are killin' it! Please, all of y'all, get yourselves to the San Jose Jazz fest someday.
