Budget styling tips please!! I'm in a funk wearing the same thing over and over again, but don't want to buy anything as I feel I have enough. I need some inspiration on how to re work my wardrobe and look after being ill for a few months. 💜
I have to say I try to budget and some days I’m good and other days I’m just not. Christmas really took so much in 2018 that I’m still behind now. Next year (this year actually) I have already said to my friends that I don’t want any presents this year as I can’t get them any and they completely understood! Which made me feel great, so I know that next time it’s just my nieces and nephew that I need to get a little gift for and that’s it. Really well done on the saving, I’m going to keep trying but yeah some re using your old clothes videos would be great at the moment as I tend to get bored of what I’m wearing so go and buy more :( keep it up though x
brilliant video had put my back on track for my no buy i have done terrible in march we live across the road from a shop and i’m always in there would love to see more videos on savings or using things up clothes ingredients etc xx
Thanks so much! The quick trip to the shops adds up So much!! Try and work out how much you've spent over the past 4 weeks and write it down and pin it up by the door to stop you! Thanks so much for watching xx
Well done hun, I really need to start doing these, I started no spending (well really limiting my spending lol) the last few weeks and like you it was actually easier than I thought. So as of next month I’m really going to try and do it properly x
6 transactions ? That's amazing !! For Christmas this year my husband bought me an insulated bottle. It cost £8. That's the only thing I got and I was ecstatic! I will use it every day for my cup of tea to stop me buying on the go, thus save me money. I'm a bit of a charity shop and second hand eBay shopper too. So I've signed up for an online course which I've been thinking about doing for over a year. Signed up for it and I'm already almost half way through it. Keeps me off eBay and adds to my CV, plus the extra qualification will earn me more money. On a roll!
We are moving in a weeks time, I’ve done a massive clear out lots for charity shop. But I also found I had purchased things twice. Stupidly insane. Will be Much more mindful in the future x
No spend is great right!!??? I was even in the black when I got paid last week 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. Made a purchase yesterday though, REPLACED some work trousers but the ones I got were £8 in a sale. Loving this challenge 😊😊😊
@@LaraJoannaJarvis Thank you :-) Nope, no goals but I putting money into my savings account not (minimum £150 a month) I have not had a holiday abroad in many years so maybe 2020 will be the year for that as I'll have the funds :-) :-) :-) x
Brilliant video Lara. I’m trying to spend less and would appreciate any tips. Fashion & makeup tutorial on a budget or shopping your stash would be excellent 💕
To be honest with you, he actually doesn't spend anything anyway! He's really good and deliberates purchase decisions for months and they're like £10 when he does buy things! So that really helps x
Lara Joanna Jarvis thanks. My other half is like this he really really has to want something before he buys it. He wore a pair of jeans into the ground before he got another pair. I’m the bad one with spending need to chop my hands off lol what kind of budget do you set for food? I’m trying to stay on a diet for my wedding and it’s costing a fortune weekly x
Are you doing a no buy year this year? Or perhaps being more mindful of your spending? Get involved with the community and leave a comment below! xx
