OMG! I can’t believe they had the Beauty and the Beast set, it released over a year ago and no one bought it? They are amazing one of the best dolls I own. But I think due to the price and the outfits not being “movie accurate” / not even in the movie resulted in the set being under appreciated.
I’ve seen it happen before- I imagine it’s a return? Would have bought in a heartbeat but I can’t justify the $250 half for beast. He’s REALLY cool but I am focused on the princesses :(
I agree with you about the fashion and accessory similarity between American Girl and ILY 4EVER. I bought some AG dolls and clothes last year, and I am pretty sure if I knew ILY was coming I wouldn’t have bothered getting into the AG world because I don’t really have room. However, at least I didn’t buy that much, and I really liked the LoveShackFancy and Janie & Jack collaborations with AG. When I was a kid in the 70s, it was the norm to have fewer dolls and just buy fashion packs for them, so I am happy to see nicer clothes for 1/6th dolls than what Mattel has been providing.
I wasn't sure about the ily dolls, but I'm warming up to them. They are very endearing. It looks like you had a great time in New York! Thanks for sharing!

Love star wars stuff may have to get her!!! ❤ I loved the fashion packs I think I'm only missing the Tiana one which they didn't have that one at my target or the Mulan one and pocahontas so not sure why they didn't have those even listed on their site. I did have to order some on disney but managed to get all the dolls and most the packs. Now if rainbow high would get going on the fashion packs they say are coming. Yeah guess lucky to have a target with the disney store now since the moa has closed down. Looked like a fun trip I love new York
You should have gone for the Platinum Beauty & the Beast set! It is lovely and amazing! I doubt that opportunity will come again. Nice tour & haul video as always!
Yeah as someone in nyc, I have no idea where to go for dolls. There were a lot of dolls in December and once Christmas ended, I swear some of the targets that had a couple of dolls never got them back. I happen to work in deeper Queens and there’s one big target that tends to stock stuff, but if anything is a Walmart exclusive, I can’t get it because I refuse to go to New Jersey lol.
They had ily at target in mobile al where i go regularly to visit my mom and she buys me dolls. Tip for fashion packs instead of keeping the cardboard packaging, use baggies and they'll fit better in a suitcase
Well… it was so I could show them at least partially packaged in my filming light area for the review haha… of course I could have fully unboxed them otherwise

Ughhh I’d do anything for the $500 Belle and beast. They’re outrageously priced though. Gorgeous dolls and yes anniversary.. but holy s*** Disney! No way I have that kind of money just to toss at a doll set! Yes I know price will only go up… but I want to remove them and enjoy them, not have them just take up space until I can sell online for $1000 lol
i’m actually from nyc and we have tons of targets in the outer boroughs like queens and brooklyn but sadly our closest walmarts are in long island haven’t had luck with thrifting yet tho 😩
Japanese thrift store?! Bookoff?! If so I LOVE that place, I practically live there! And I really only go to like one target specifically but there's NO ily 4ever 10 inch dolls there!!! Only the toddler ones and when I went to the Disney store I too was practically salivating at the sight of the ily display. I love the Tiana and Jasmine dolls and I want them so bad but I'm not sure I can afford to open that Pandora's box TT
I feel you on having a hard time getting them. There is only one Disney Target near me and the fashion/accessory packs are very limited. Also, unless buying from shop Disney or Disney stores like in times square the pocahontas and moana fashion packs are not sold in stores and have to be bought online from Targets
I went to a target the next city over from me that WAS a Disney target a year ago yesterday and it’s not anymore. My town had a Disney store once upon a time but know there’s not Disney store or target (and JCPenney’s has become a joke)

i get the point of accessory packs, but to dress and undress those dolls is the most horrifying thing to exist? And kids could never do this without destroying the clothes
