Finally someone in Hope family shows up. This is the biggest problem with legacies imo: the og cast never show up. We know the reason why but from an in universe standpoint it makes no sense. Caroline NEVER sees her daughters, even when Josie went evil? Damon and Elena are around….. Fryia never visits despite being in NO? And this is the first time Rebecca visits Hope…..seriously? And another thing, Rebecca knows Hope is lost right now and dangerous….why not bring Marcel? He’s an enhanced original and thus on a similar level of power as Hope. It just….doesn’t make sense

I really wish I liked this show. I love TVD and stopped watching the originals (but somewhat enjoyed that too) so I was so excited when I realized they’d continued the TVD verse with some of the original characters and Klaus’ daughter as the main character but the show is just soooooo disappointing to me. All those corny monsters, the acting, the lack of that heavy hitting feeling from intense dangers and threats. Idk, I just feel like it’s soooo watered down. Maybe meant for a younger audience, idk.
