Many thanks for this beautiful musical trip down memory lane.
Now THIS is true Christmas music in my opinion.
Pure pleasure. And I remember Avebury from when i was a young lad in the 1950s and lived in Wiltshire at a
time when cycling its highways and byways was my main activity out of school. There is a strange sometimes
almost painful ache of nostalgia that hearing these carols evokes in me. So many memories that surface
from across the decades. So many who were once here but are now gone forever from this life. These
return each Christmas...reborn in their own way.
Just to say thank U for this Traditional Christmas Carol i admired Klassic christmas song

Very well done. Puts me in mind of Home, ... That isn't there anymore. 15 years a full season Faith based Santa Claus I sing these through the season remembering the 9 of us around the piano on Christmas Eve singing our hearts out. In 2015 I sang next to my older brother from the choir loft for my Dad's funeral. That was the last of the family singing together. I am a solitary man, no children, no wife. I live a thousand miles from where My Brother and I sang in the choir in our youth. Singing these songs for those that come to visit Saint Nicholas during the season IS my Christmas. This reminds me of that. Merry Christmas.

I am glad you enjoyed it, I feel the same, there is just something about old Carols that triggers memories or childhood concerts and the excitement of Christmas.

Avebury manor is a beautiful old house that was restored some years back now. The BBC made a documentary about it called "The Manor Reborn" there are some episodes on RUclips, worth a look..... ruclips.net/video/p-IiSuxfmIQ/видео.html
