She's a better match for him than Lana was. I hated how she'd get all jealous if he showed interest in Chloe when she was still with Whitney; it was annoying, and her fault for not telling him sooner.
Lana couldn't be trusted because Clark put her on a pedestal.. which happens with "first loves" and Chloe was only seen in Clark's eyes as a friend, unfortunately, I shipped them for a long time before season 4. Lois (in Smallville) may have fought with him at first but they also had a mutual understanding for eachother, even tho she didn't know his secret she accepted him :)
And fall for Lex And Mary him Lana allways stressée him to know his secret shes not the right girl for Clark he did see Lois but finaly fall in love d'expérience with his Dreamgirl Lois

I actually have a comic where Clois got married and it was made by the time Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was still on the air on ABC from 1993 to 1997. I don't know where this Superman interpretation (Smallville) will go with this version of Clois but I hope It's a great one and Season 9 is the best season ever yet with all the superhero action and romance!

Clark was too available to Lana. Just as Chloe was too available Clark. He tolerated Lois at first. Meaning he didn’t make himself available.
