- Kaylia Nemour performs on Uneven Bars at 2024 Cottbus World Cup!
The 17-year-old Algerian, who has already qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, began the competition with a superb qualification on the uneven bars, with the highest difficulty score of the competition (6.9), but also and above all a superbly well executed routine that enabled her to finish well ahead with a score of 15,433. This achievement by the Algerian was even stronger than her performance at the World Championships in October, where she was silver medallist (15,200 in qualifications, 15,033 in the final), her new personal best.

She is absolutely going for the Olympic gold medal in this event. All contenders were just put on notice.
She so deserves it! Stunning, could watch her all day long!
Definitely!
and she did
I have Never seen anyone swing bars like that. Stunning.
✊🏻🇩🇿
Kaylia is incredibly talented. In my opinion she is one of the few gymnasts who manages to make the cross grip catch actually look nice.
She swings so freely. She makes it look like she’s just having fun
She knows how to use momentum to her advantage!
wow! every quad, bars is the one event that keeps getting better and better.
Because this is the highest scoring event. No other events can come close except for some outliers.
Kaylia Nemour the Algerian , she is simply the best in the world
One,two,three viva l’Algerie 🇩🇿
That is the best bar work I have ever seen in my relatively long life -- extremely difficult and floaty. She is pure gold. France you made a huge mistake!
Paris gold to humiliate France Gymnastics Federation plz! This is the best bars routine I have seen. Only 2 kips and very floaty.
I mean, it would be epic to see that. If everyone hits in the bars final it could be incredibly hard to get on that podium, but definitely rooting for her!
@@plp666 I think she should attempt a downie 2. No matter how hard she tries, she won't get the Ricna 1/2 credit. Would rather her do a "downie" with cross catch instead.
@@cocoroni1031 I don't think she's trying to get credit for the Derwael-Fenton. She's doing it so that she can connect to the Ezhova. Catching in mixed grip is a lot harder from a pike shape.
@@rebeccasilver2181 But it's possible for her. She's so talented on the UB, and she may have some upgrade plan.
@@cocoroni1031 of course, but she doesn't need it to win at the Olympics. If she could do it now without getting too many deductions, she would. And like I said, I don't think she intends to get credit for the Derwael-Fenton, she's doing it to connect to the Ezhova and fulfill the grips CR.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone float like that… That was beautiful, the form was incredible, she made all of her skill look so easy, and she even perfectly stuck her dismount! I mean, what can I say, she’s definitely getting Olympic gold.
So smooth. She keeps getting better!
She is unreal
She was thrown out and abandonned ɓy france after her injury, she went back to represent her orgin country Algeria, and here she is,brillant again.Lucky her,her home country still believed in her😂😂😂❤
Woohooo bravo Keylia very proud of you! Bring on the Olympics! Cheers bent bladi from Australia ❤
she's coming to take paris gold definitely
that is such an insane score, look how ahead she is, stunning routine.
kaiyla keeps progressing and progressing in this world championship every time she gets on it she tops her previously score. just insane
She has wings on her feet. Simply magnificent.
She’s definitely improved wowww deffo going for that Olympic gold 👀👀
She got credited and DESERVED the Derwael-Fenton omg omg omg
She actually did not get credited. This routine was only given a 6.9 D
sad!
She did not get the credit. Do a downie 2 (has not named yet) and she will get 0.2 cv and extra 0.1 from E to F. So that changes from 6.9 to 7.1 or 7.2 if downie 2 is credited.
No she didn’t and no she didn’t. She knows she’s not getting it credited but it allows her to avoid a kip to handstand (one of her weaknesses) and keeps her routine flowing.
Wow, her bars are just WOW AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤
The only thing I saw was her final cast to handstand was slightly short of vertical. Other than that, her routine was done impeccably well, especially considering all the difficulty and connections involved. Bravo! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Her handstands are always a little iffy. It’s why she only does two kips in the whole routine and keeps the derwael-Fenton even though she doesn’t ever get credit for it. She also has form issues on her ezhova (her legs separate every time) and she has some foot form breaks in her nemour, and her inbars. Really not a lot but tenths add up. This was her cleanest routine.
She knows what she's doing!!
I feel safe watching her on bars
KAYLIA NEMOUR UB 15.433 (6.9/8.533)
It finally got full credit?! Also my gosh that score is hugee
@@jhere289no full credit would be 7.1 (which she didn't get here)
@@WorldGymnasticsMemories That's crazy! Idk why I remember her difficulty being a 6.7 last time; maybe it was another bar gymnast
@@jhere289She missed the connection to Pak so she lost 0.2 connection value at the Worlds
Time to learn a downie 2!
Great! And the Cottbus World Cup gets even bigger. What a good tournament and organization.
She's a beast
The best ❤
Bravooo! Estupenda!
the coach clearly knows who he has on the bars and clearly knows what kaiyla is capable of and he seems like this is isn't all of it. kaiyla really makes me look forward to paris 2024
STUNNING ROUTINE FULL OF DIFFICULT RELEASES AND CONNECTIONS. I LOVE IT!!!
Super impressive🎉❤
Awesome ❤👏🎯
this routine only being a 6.9D is criminal
they're scared bc they know she could score above 16
It’s technically supposed to be 7.1, but because she catches the Derwael-Fenton in cross grip it gets downgraded to E and she loses a 0.1 in CV due to E+D connection instead of F+D, which gives 0.2 CV
@@brianlau7827- It gets downgraded when caught in cross grip? What? How are gymnasts supposed to catch it, then? 🙃
@@thecreativegeek7886 she needs to clearly begin the 1/2 turn in the air before catching, that's very difficult to achieve so her routine becomes risky
Should just learn a Downie with cross catch. She will get 0.2 CV no matter it's evaluated as F or G.
She has the difficulty and her execution is looking so much better. It’s going to be an epic battle for Bars gold in Paris
I absolutely adore her. I hope she wins the gold in Paris.
Lovely!
Those lines oh my gosh she reminds me of kocian/locklear/komova😍
Amazing
i love how she sticks her landing like a dart
Tremendous work. The deductions are minimal, (a few slightly missed handstands and the flexed feet)
And the french gymnastic has lost this stunning girl, and more because she is also a good all around 🎉
Bravo kaylia. ❤❤❤
I want her to win the Olympic gold.
Wow, indeed!
I’m impressed how her foot are glued finally compared to last Worlds!
It’s much better but the ezhova is still giving her issues. It’s still so early. We shouldn’t expect her peak for a while.
Très élégante❤
That was absolutely fantastic! What was the E-score? I'm sure they found more than a point off, but I don't see more than 4 tenths... and that's stretching it!
Wow very hard to do what she did on the second torn well done
It’s just so good tho
❤
Writing history!!
She’s insane!!!
😍😍
Kaylila, the cat
My fav. on bars is SUNI LEE.. and believe me.. she's coming back, full on..
Is that the highest bars score of the quad ? (exept domestics matchs)
Highest score internationally since Rio!!!!! Even Suni and Derweal maxed at 15.4 last quad. I think Illyankova or Eremina went 15.466 once domestically but at an intl competition this is the highest since Rio.
And that's with the CoP devaluation!
😮
WOW. What else can be said?
🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
✊🏻🩸🇩🇿🤲🏻Algeria
Elle participe pour l’Algérie 🇩🇿🇩🇿,et pas pour la France
Only a 15....that should be a 17
Since her d score is 6.9 that’s a mathematic impossibility. And while it’s a great routine, it’s not perfect, she flexes her feet during the nemour and in her inbars, her handstands are slightly short, and she has a form break in her ezhova. It’s not a 10, but it is one of the highest scoring bar routines this quad I believe. At least this year.
Qiu Qiyuan has upgraded her ub d score to 7.3 this winter, so bring it on and we are not afraid 😊😊
She did? Is there a video of her doing that?
What could qiu add to honestly up it by more than 5 tenths
@@bryanthan9363 it's quite easy actually: connecting her Downie into Pak into Van Leuwen adds 0.3 CV. Upgrading her unconnected tuck 1/1 dismount into a Fabrichnova adds another 0.2. Qiu had 6.7 at WC 2023 so this would give her 7.2.
