    A few questions for you - are you using soft glass or boro, please? What clear glass are you using - which manufacturer? Finally, would just silver fuming with no gold fuming look nice too? Great video, thank you!

      This is Simax boro. Varying combinations of silver and gold make different colors. It's hard to control but some people are really good at it.

      Probably talking about removing the outer layer of glass from the front of the marble. The glass which has been in the flame too much can be a little less clear, so as a final step, you remove that, exposing the "fresh" glass underneath. Also there may be pieces of bad glass on the surface, which will appear cloudy when it cools. This is a major reason why some artists marbles are noticeably more clear. It's an extra step for that last little bit of quality that says you're a true master.

    Where do u get the balls of silver and gold ?

      You can use any pure gold and silver that you want. I got the gold wire from another artist, and the silver shot from Profound Glass. I have also used silver coins and gold bars purchased from coin shops. It just has to be pure gold or silver.
