If they got a 5’8” actor to play him, everyone else on the cast would have to be like 5’3”-5’4”, not plausible. Would make more sense for a short actor portraying him to where platform shoes, like Robert De Niro did in The Irishman, and for the studio to hire supporting cast members based on actual acting ability and not height. Simply playing with angles wouldn’t give a significant towering effect like that of a 6’3” man.
