I do love this 1. Honestly anytime someone has asked my opinion about Light Blue Intense for men I usually recommend the women’s version even for the guys. Beautiful stuff yeah just like you’re saying it’s quite a unisex citrus. Lovely stuff.

Great fragrance breakdown, as usual. I wear the men's version. We all know the "women's" version is better, but my teenage daughter wears it and would probably prefer if she didn't smell exactly like dad. The more peppery men's interpretation works for me as a daily dumb reach in the summer months.

I managed to pick this up (100ml) for £42 on Black Friday. Came today and smells great but I have had a migraine all night as I probably sprayed too much. I am prone to headaches so need to be careful. Probably not an issue for most.
This has something more interesting than the original. And i agree that it can become boring. It might be interesting in alternation with 2-3 others summer perfumes. I enjoy your reviews, keep doing this fantastic work! You bring so much to the communuty ! 😘🤗❤
I used to hate this but slowly realized this is such a gorgeous scent. Absolutely perfect for summer, better than the regular men's version and the Love is Love flanker. The sandalwood rounds it up soooo nicely. I don't think this qualifies as a signature scent though.

Such a timeless solid easy reach! It really is clever as Aaron mentions. I recommend men also use the pour femme as its much more fragrant and is completely unisex. The pour homme smells more like a shower gel. I use this in summer months. I do prefer a more complex interesting scent for a signature scent, but this is a no brainer for an unoffensive no brainer scent.
I stopped by the mens counter to compare, but I went back and purchased the Intense. So much better than the Light Blue edt. I do appreciate your more technical descriptve terms.

I have an excellent musk perfume which wears liner but gets more warmer as it reaches the base. I wore that under light blue and had a phenomenal scent response. Thank you for the suggestion!
I have only "men" version of this and I am not able to withstand that "salty sea note" or whatever it is. It makes me almost to puke, just disgusting. Absolutely hate it. But based on your review this sounds much better, I will give it a try. Thank you!

1 year ago i had this parfume. I ordered the wrong one, the female version. Its a nice citrus and little bit woody scent but the only downside is it last only litterly like 2 houre or so. Defo unique also
I wear this one and love it but I honestly prefer the men's version which my husband wears. That one smells like Issey Miyake Pour homme before it was reformulated and performs better than virtually any other aquatic on the market aside from Aqua Amara.

Imaginary Authors has a scent called every storm a serenade that starts off green in the opening then transitions to blue in the drydown ,it really sets this image in your head of like hiking through a forest and it opening up to the sea, it's really quite nice.

This is easily my favorite summer scent. To me it smells almost salty. Its like having a margarita in a beachside cabana in Mexico condensed into a smell.

I hated this because of the amberwood. I noticed that fragrances with amberwood all smell foul, rotten, horrible to me. I wish I understood what it is about this note that reads so awful to my nose, and why do I pick up these bad smells when others don’t seem to?
I totally agree with you on all counts! I do wear Light Blue Intense, but only in high heat, and only for very casual occassions. For some reason, I only like it on me if I am perspiring. As I live in the Americam South, I have plenty of opportunities to prespire. Somehow perspiration makes it more interesting. Perhaps my perspiration lends a bit of the muskiness that you were wishing for. If I am not going to be very hot, though, I find it pleasant but boring.
It sounds like anyone could use it. I've just ordered a bottle of SANDWOOD cologne by Geo f trumper, as it has real mysore sandalwood, it's meant to be masculine yet most people could use it. Not that expensive either.

It feels unisex and has a really nice equal balance of the mix.

The OG has a bit more of the pepper note, and less of that headache inducing ambroxan/dead sea weed smell. Prefer the OG myself
