Ravhanos’s Backstory (Splatoon Gmod Animation)

- Well here it is, the lore. But! It’s not done there! I plan on making more lore animations in the future, so I hope you all stay tuned for that! They might be long animations or short, under 15 minutes, animations.

One more thing I would like to mention is that I made this before the dlc, having no idea that Inkopolis Plaza would get “popular” again. So the story takes place before that lol

What was your favorite part?
I liked everything. If I had to chose, it would be the part where Ravhanos goes to steal shiny objects from the trash with Logan there. I don't know why, I guess that at that point I was really submerged into the story xd
6:47 that hair adjustment when logan takes out her hat. Thats a really nice detail that probably only people who animates would really appreciate. Damn hair that gets in the hats way when you attach them to the characters head lol.

I will write first my reactions in order I see it and then do a general comment about it:
- That coins throwing animation at 1:35. Nice detail there.
- 2:05 Why those octolings looks familiar?
- 3:47 that jumpscare form him lol XD.
- 4:58 Who is this bum? and wait, is that a curling on his hand? XD. Anyways; it is so cool to see all the gang here. Thank you Raven for putting all of this here :).
- 6:30 That was so ravhanos! nice. It made me instant LOL at that moment XD.
- 10:08 lmao. Also, Ravhanos has a ton of personality. I really like it.
- 10:52 that plot twist! I didn't expect that at all. Now I'm curious about the other side of that thing :O.
- Wow... all of that past is so, interesting, I will comment it later.

Ok, after watching all of this I will say... WOW. I didn't expect it to have so much story. I was impressed by ravhanos personality and she is really fleshed out. Now that we know that Ravhanos was a part of you, that then became her own, I am really wondering..... as we grow older, we tend to change as a person, little by little; I guess we grow up. However, when we write about something, or we have a photo of ourselves, or a video that reminds us of our past, like maybe those are a ghost, someone who represented us on our times in the past, and maybe we remember those with some nostalgia, and want us to remember what it doesn't take a part in us. Maybe thats why you have many characters. But I don't really know.
There are so many details and characters there. Each one of them seems to have a background story. Even some random ones showing up out of the sudden, all seems to have a story. I will watch this again but later, to see if I can catch up some other hidden detail.
Anyways RavenCat. Really good animation; you are inspiring me to continue with the projects I have. I cannot wait to see more of this, but I also know it really takes time and energy to do stuff like this. Get some rest and hopefully you will get the energy and inspiration to continue this story. I am really intrigued by it. Also, hopefully we (The infinity sploon gang) get more cameos lol XD.
Also some sidenotes, I also hate to animate walking; thats why I put the camera above the legs XD.
Also, another sidenote... what if drunk fern accidentally gets in through your portal without knowing? lol XD (just kidding. )

Lol the 14:52 part seems to make everyone laugh
I was also impressed by the coins at the beginning. Also interesting idea about the turning points of our lives making us become someone else, and leaving our past selves as ghosts... I feel like that could be exploded for many creative ideas
I just noticed something that idk why I didn't noticed before.... your character blinks their eyes. All of them. That is a really good touch and it gives this feeling of them being alive. Really cool atention to details.
Also, I really liked the ambient music for all the scenes.
14:37 many people will say these scene are just fillers (I mean the one Ravhanos is explaining some stuff to Logan); but to me, it just adds more details to each of the characters, and the feeling of them being more alive on their universe.
I am learning from you Raven. You are kind of inspiring me to put more details on my future animations.
