Ricky and Steve keep telling Karl he is a freak with his round head - he must have felt deflated when the spider sisters told him nobody would come to see him 😂
Aswell as the deleted scenes , there's the full version of Karl selling his Pilko pump pants. Its about 19 minutes long "KARL PILKINGTON selling pump pants on tv" it includes behind the scenes stuff too
I did the skyjump there! It's way less scary than bungee jumping or skydiving but you get a bit longer to experience it. Driving through Macau at night is beautiful, whole buildings with walls of lights. It felt like a modern Las Vegas.
@@MandyCaneLane You should, it's super cool!! The restaurant is one level below it and as you look out the window you see people randomly jumping off, it's so weird! I think I remember that the room slowly rotates around so the view is constantly changing too. If you just want to do the skyjump though I think the guy who created it(AJ Hackett) has other locations around the world like Las Vegas or Australia that might be easier to get to 😁
Loved every minute of the Idiot Abroad journey with your reactions to it. This day had to come but there's more Karl stuff still around. Great episode to end it with too. The moment I mentioned before was to do with Warwick breaking down in tears on the steps because so much wanted to get to the top and didn't want to give up, which lead to his frustration. Karl in his own mean way did encourage Warwick to keep going though and he made it, admitting that Karl was 'just what I needed' to push him onwards. Perhaps it wasn't quite as I remembered it :) Karl lacks empathy though and it would have been awesome if he's sat next to Warwick at that moment and just put his arm around him. A lovely moment, which was super quick, was in the last music scenes where Warwick moved across and placed his hand on Karl shoulder. They had moments of bonding in their own ways. Very cool. Thanks for preventing 'meh' days with these reactions. You are therapy.
The spider sisters names btw, Ganga and Jamuna Mondal. They are now near their mid 50s and got married a few years ago to the same man who also works in carnivals
@MinnesotaVikingsFan.it’s not necessarily about being carnivorous. In Africa, hippos and wildebeest kill many more humans than any of the dangerous carnivores.
@alexp6712 well, true. Its not necessarily about being carnivorous. In fact, I would guess it wasn't even remotely related to what they were saying. Aggression my guy. Pandas are less aggressive than other bears. I think that's the point.
@@shanustheanus the reason I brought up what they eat is that a lot of people assume that only carnivores are aggressive, and throw phrases like “gentle giant” around. My point was that it’s unrelated, and there are plenty of herbivores that can be highly Aggressive.
@alexp6712 I see what you're saying, but it's not necessarily about the battle of Hastings. In fact, there are many conflicts that took far more human lives. Far more than pandas have.
Your joy and happiness has come through on every episode, it's been a pleasure watching with & listening to you Mandy ... No one will surpass you reactions ... Your just the best 😊🤗

39:20 I have a friend who's got similar dwarfism to this guy. I can't speak for him but usually when he gets upset by something he can't do it's because it reminds him that he's not "normal".
Precious cargo is a normal term, never heard anyone confused by it 😅 considering he was talking about history in China, he probably would have been thinking about boats carrying tea or opium perhaps in the olden days
Gillian Mckeith used to do a tv show about dieting and healthy eating and would often take stool samples and look at them to help the person needing help to understand their health ect it was gross AF and thats what they were referring to with the toilets on the boat already having poop laying there or whatever lol

In Norway Smalahove (sheep's head) is a national dish. Just comes from a time when using up as much of the animal as possible was a necessity, wouldn't say it's all that weird.
🤣 I honestly can't believe I never realised that! So true 😅 ...I've often wondered about the freak obsession, but never thought of the simple attention factor. When Karl was telling stories (sharing "facts") on Russell Brand's radio 6 Brand just straight up called him out...I don't believe you, I think you make things up..."I think you do it just for attention" ...something to do with your childhood 😅😂
2:48 I saw that video years ago. It was like a tribe in the jungle that hadn't had any contact with other people before that. They were touching the guy like they didn't fully believe he was real, and they were all defensive, with their sticks prepared to fight. They were all standing on a big tree they were using as a bridge in a river. The guy gave them rice with salt and when they tasted it they did a gesture with their closed fists on the side of their head, which apparently meant they thought it was good. The guy also gave them aspirin diluted in water for one of their babies. It was a cool documentary.
Hi Mandy, now your at the end of an idiot abroad you should listen to Steve and Karl all the insults, you'll luv it and you'll see a completely different side to Karl😊

(Around the 3 minute mark) There was a Native American tribe that had the same reaction. The Lewis & Clark Expedition, and the team brought a slave with them, and once they got west, they ran into a tribe that never saw a black person before (since they were so far west, at that point). This was around 1806, under Thomas Jefferson. That tribe had almost the exact same reaction as the people you mentioned with the white guy. They kept touching the black slave, pondering at how dark his skin was. We know, cause some of those on the Lewis & Clark team kept diaries of their travels, and the one person on the team recorded the incident. "What's `Precious Cargo?' " ..... (Similar to the story you mentioned, but not as sad) ..... You ever heard of "Greyhound?" Well, in my area, there's a lesser known, smaller bus company called "Precious Cargo" (I know about it because I saw the buses before), likely named so, since they transport people, rather than items. People would be as precious cargo as it gets. I guess most of the time, folks would try to think of what item is being shipped, but nicely named, since they're transporting people. Agreed, Mandy. Why is Karl always going on about "stop saving people." 😂 Nice watching this series with you. Something I otherwise would never have heard of, let alone seen. So, thanks. It would be great if they did a one episode special, of "ten year anniversary since the last episode," but this time, send Ricky on the trip, with or without Karl. Especially if Karl got to pick the destination and the activities. "I am off, cause if I'm not, I won't shut up, so......" And, I'm still waiting on the day we get to hear you go on and on. I would love it. I would listen. ...... I guess I would up long winded in some of my comments, like this one, so same with me. Hello to you as well, sunshine. Pandas trundle about cutely, because they have no energy. Their digestive system is a carnivores one. @@MandyCaneLane Not sure if you know there's an extra 'deleted an idiot abroad scenes' video, too, which I just reminded myself of, and I've watched other reactors to it.
Hey there again Mandy, great video again had been waiting for the conclusion of this. Forget to mention last time that I have actually met Karl once at a book signing he did in my town a few years back. If you want I can show you some photos of the historic event especially given the T-Shirt I was wearing and tell you what he said to me. :)
20:58 On XFM, he had a bit (do we need'm) where he'd speak to a professional regarding a certain animal (jellyfish) and have a 'debate' where Karl tries to convince them the animal contributes nothing. Ricky does point a mirror at him multiple times on XFM asking "what do you do, Karl!?" 21:36 You only have to look at the people Karl compares himself to. Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Samuel Pepys amongst others. Edit 43:02 Oh yeah, Winston Churchill too!
Good points. That's what is great about Karl...he can put himself up next to anyone (even genius) & evaluate. He's more impressed with things like "the pillow man" rolling a smoke with just his mouth. I remember when Karl was claiming credit for contributing to the journey & career of some athlete (Darren Campbell?) because he used to push start Karl in his go kart.
Loved your recap. Never heard about Leonardo DiCaprio story, parachute failures. I did sky dive, think I wet myself, dried on landing. Never again, my bucket list done, imo. 🇬🇧❤👵
I don't know why it took you so long to find out how high the bungee was. They said the height of the *Macau Tower* in the lift *(338 metres).* And the *Macau Tower Bungee Jump* height can be found straight away on Google *(233 metres)* by typing *"World's Highest Bungee Jumps"* or *"Macau Tower Bungee Height"* where it is in 2nd place behind the *Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge Bungee* which is *260 metres.*
This is one of those things where I think they should have kept going like Back to the Futher, Ghost Busters now An Idiot Abroad should have kept going
Always great reactions (noticed the hair this time lol) to awesome series and the ending but I'd watch Karl pushed over the sky tower. But good enough. At least Warwick has balls size of grape(fuit)? (I'd do that benji jump on a heart beat. Done 2 but like 60 meters or so). Vacation for 2 weeks here so gotta enjoy finnish summer. It's been pleasure to watch your reactions, mostly. Hope you are happy in your life. That's most important in life, innit. 😉
He is, the ad where the guy selling fruit and veg only accepts Cryptocurrency. Extra funny if you've heard his opinion on Steve being offered voice over work.
What you said reminds me of when I thought I'd read all of Hemingway. I realised there were a couple more and I refuse to read them bc I like the idea that there's something
Love it, thank you Mandy! I swear the shot at 8:38 could be a renaissance painting 😆I also love the difference in Karl's attitude towards Chinese street food compared to S1E1! Hopefully a lot more Karl content to come. Obviously Moaning of Life as others have mentioned, I'm also particularly fond of a few TV segments he's done for other shows like his bit on modern art for The Culture Show (ruclips.net/video/Y6Xpa7SajlE/видео.html) there's also the video podcasts he did with Ricky and Steve, they're kinda random and short but I think there's a compilation of them.
Thanks so much for taking us on this incredible Pilkington journey, Mandy. There is still some of the Ricky Gervais Show to enjoy if you stiil need your Karl fix.
I have absolutely no doubt that Karl believes he is the undisputed pinacle of intelligence, logic and common sense. I wish i had his level of self-confidence/ignorance. Normally they say 'ignorance is bliss'. Karl seems to have sidestepped the bliss part and landed firmly in the realm of... blind incompetence? Maybe? Not really sure what it is but it's unique. I also need to say, you disappoint me Miss Mandy 😔 I was all excited about going on The Amazing Race with you, but based on your reaction to the whole bungie jumping thing, clearly that's not going to happen! 🤪 Jumby Bumping sounds like a lot of fun though.
Thanks for letting us tag along right to the very end with Karl. Turns out the old saying "I can't take you anywhere!" doesn't apply to Karl! He shows empathy with ordinary (and extraordinary) people all over the globe. (BTW I'm with Karl on films - "Kes" is unforgettable) Mandy, may you continue to find joy in misery, delight in grumpiness and fun in the obtuse!

@Mandy Cane Lane you still have two seasons of "The Moaning of Life" to do with Karl. it's not all over yet!!! It's essentially Idiot Abroad without Ricky... There are some amazing moments, you will love it, and what's more, is most of it is on RUclips for free!

Loved the reaction ☺️ it's been a great journey. So glad you found Karl ☺️ (though there is still loads of Karl content left- so really it's just the end of a chapter but you've still got the book left ☺️) If you want there is an MSM interview which has Karl, Warwick, and Ricky talking about season 3. It's quite hilarious. 😂 If you search- "MSM interviews the stars of an idiot abroad" it should come up. It has 2.2 million views. From 8 years ago. Also side note: another recommendation is a video of Karl and Ricky called "Karl Pilkington and Ricky Gervais interview 2012 - very funny!" With 4.7 million views and is from 10 years ago. @@MandyCaneLane KARL IN A FILM ......Is a master class of DILKINGTON editing work if only for the Ricky "losing it" in the background audio ...?
Pandas are still bears and they can be dangerous. Though these ones probably are a bit calmer since being around humans a lot.
Loved your recap. Never heard about Leonardo DiCaprio story, parachute failures. I did sky dive, think I wet myself, dried on landing. Never again, my bucket list done, imo. 🇬🇧❤👵
I'm surprised you made no comment on one of my favourite Karl questions, asking Warwick if he had knees😂😂😂
I was shocked he even asked 🤦🏻♀️
I always wanted to go "jumby bumping"
Me too!
I don't know why it took you so long to find out how high the bungee was.
They said the height of the *Macau Tower* in the lift *(338 metres).*
And the *Macau Tower Bungee Jump* height can be found straight away on Google *(233 metres)* by typing *"World's Highest Bungee Jumps"* or *"Macau Tower Bungee Height"* where it is in 2nd place behind the *Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge Bungee* which is *260 metres.*
Lol, I found a list of top 11 places but it started from 11 😅🤣
'aving a good ol' dig for gold is polite in some countries.
45:45 Pudding doesn't necessarily mean pudding. It's another way of saying "dessert" generally.
Oh, oops 🤭
Karl mentioned Salford docks, surprised most Mancs call it Manchester Docks
11:42 spices cause they needed them to preserve food in long distance ship travel
Thank you!!! 🙌🏻🤗
Idiot abroad funny I think Karl is doing a commercial voice over now on TV
He is, the ad where the guy selling fruit and veg only accepts Cryptocurrency. Extra funny if you've heard his opinion on Steve being offered voice over work.
So much fun watching these two interact. Also, Mandy is adorable in her reactions! ps I bet your mortician friend corpses too, Mandy! haha 😜
What you said reminds me of when I thought I'd read all of Hemingway. I realised there were a couple more and I refuse to read them bc I like the idea that there's something
clearly this series was suppose to go on for more episodes, but you can tell karl and warwick just were not getting along by episode 3
Oh yes, my Karl viewing is not even close to over!! 🙌🏻😅
Odin recommends you watch
“Hachi”
Based on a Japanese National Treasure,
Tearjerker ,,de-Lux.
You’ll love it
What is your favourite food?
Erm............faces. definitely.
😂
Lmao!!
Thanks so much for taking us on this incredible Pilkington journey, Mandy. There is still some of the Ricky Gervais Show to enjoy if you stiil need your Karl fix.
And hundreds of hours of XFM radio station broadcasts!
My absolute pleasure! 🙌🏻🤗
How do we know there are still islands to be discovered if we haven't seen them?
Do you think we have discovered the entirety of the universe or the ocean even?
@@MandyCaneLane Not the universe, but I think satellites have mapped the earth.
Melodious braying
Sorry, want to remember that phrase before I forget it
I have absolutely no doubt that Karl believes he is the undisputed pinacle of intelligence, logic and common sense.
HAHAHAHA! Karl's ignorance is misery 🤣
Did you notice the lights on Karl's helmet were orange?
I saw them as Red 🤭
Thanks for letting us tag along right to the very end with Karl. Turns out the old saying "I can't take you anywhere!" doesn't apply to Karl! He shows empathy with ordinary (and extraordinary) people all over the globe. (BTW I'm with Karl on films - "Kes" is unforgettable) Mandy, may you continue to find joy in misery, delight in grumpiness and fun in the obtuse!
Hahah! Love it!! Will do Huaysai! 🙌🏻🤗
Was that clip the one where the man and the tribe were at other sides of the water? They thouht he was a ghost i think.
I think so! You know how my memory is 🙈
I wish they showed their stay at the venetian they stayed in, I googled it and its beautiful!! Would have been nice to see them enjoying luxury, thank you for another great video, have a dope day homie
I don't think Karl ever gets luxury 😅🤣
There's a couple of videos of panda's going mental at people and it's not cute at all
I have never seen those but I 100% believe you
I think there is a video where they sit down with Ricky like the Karl comes home videos
Oh and "I'll kick a panda in the balls" will go down in British History
Edit: i dont think there is another :( just promotional vids which are a blast
Will deff watch those!
@Mandy Cane Lane you still have two seasons of "The Moaning of Life" to do with Karl. it's not all over yet!!! It's essentially Idiot Abroad without Ricky... There are some amazing moments, you will love it, and what's more, is most of it is on RUclips for free!
To me (from the uk), precious cargo is what I'd say if I had a loved one in the car my gf or a kid, for example. So not toooo dissimilar to the mortician you mentioned 😅
Watched further annnd I think Mr round is referring to Warwick as his precious cargo with him being on the back of the bike
didn't they recently find the 8th continent #Zealandia all underwater apart from the mountains which are New Zealand & New Caledonia
21:00 he provides entertainment to the masses
Exactly!
I did not hear sorry what movie at the end did you say we should watch. Was it the Mist?
Yes, interesting movie. Unexpected ending! 🤭
nooo i didn't see this journey coming to an end so soon! excited to see whatever fills its place
the moaning of life is great but I had to skip a few parts and watch a few parts through the cracks of my fingers covering my eyes 😂not nearly as family friendly and it addresses some very heavy topics, still a great great series though. has some of my favorite Karl moments of all time! they did an episode on happiness and he was all smiles during most of that
HOW DARE YOU BRING UP THE ENDING TO THE MIST LOLL
Loved the reaction ☺️ it's been a great journey. So glad you found Karl ☺️ (though there is still loads of Karl content left- so really it's just the end of a chapter but you've still got the book left ☺️)
If you want there is an MSM interview which has Karl, Warwick, and Ricky talking about season 3. It's quite hilarious. 😂
If you search- "MSM interviews the stars of an idiot abroad" it should come up. It has 2.2 million views. From 8 years ago.
Also side note: another recommendation is a video of Karl and Ricky called "Karl Pilkington and Ricky Gervais interview 2012 - very funny!" With 4.7 million views and is from 10 years ago. It is very funny and I think you'll enjoy it very much. 😊
Hope you're doing well and can't wait for more of your infectious laugh and good vibes☺️
Panda's can be aggressive sometimes.
So can humans 😅
That's the happiest I've ever seen Karl :p
The ending to The Mist is crazy! I've recommended people to watch that movie, just for that ending.
Time to watch Derek 👍👍
Incredible ❤
The ending to The Mist is a favorite??? You're dark homie......lol
Haha, yes, but I mainly like that it is super unpredictable and not a Hollywood happy ending! I am so sick of Hollywood cliches
Brilliant x
