Your birds are so well trained I would have thought she would have stayed close by your house. Thankfully our little girl stayed in the trees close by. I am sorry to hear that you lost your bird. They may be little but they leave a large hole in your heart when they are gone. Thank you again.

I have a lovebird named Star. He thinks he's a human. He bangs on his cage door to get out and only wants me! He will get on the floor and I roll a small wooden ball to him and he rolls it back to me, Hysterical! He will get inside your nightgown and start digging around then he will curl up and sleep. He would stay all night but I'm afraid I might accidentally roll on him. He moves his head all around directing me to exactly where he wants you to scratch. Gosh forbid if you scratch him the wrong way he screams out. Life won't be the same without him.
Charlie loses his mind when I say the word "treat" he knows exactly what that is, and speaking of scratching if I don't do it right I get nipped. Not hard, just enough to let me know. He has his own page on facebook and always getting into things.
Dee Bhollah pls be careful I had a parrotlet and he got out of his cage door at night and probably flew to me. I woke up the next day and I found him under my bed, not breathing. That was the worst day of my life😭😭😭
I had love birds but when I went camping with my friends and came back I was excited to see them then my mom told me that the girl had flew away and I was like crying for days weeks then my other one did it was a boy the same thing I cried the same way and I was heart broken still today I’m crying I had those birds you have in your hand . Firoozeh Mohammadi I just bought two today. I was so bored and lonely and o don’t regret it they are 3 months old but they are still nervous of me. When I play your video they are calm but they haven’t eaten or drink their water yet. I’ve had them nearly 3 hours now, probably tonight when they are sleeping!Thanks for your video 😊

my love bird is also 17.when she turned 1 she started cronic egg laying.I rolled the dice and rescued an abused little boy for her.the cronic egg laying stopped.They come into our lives and when they leave IT leaves a hole in your heart.Most likely when I loose her he will leave too.Broken heart.

nice. my ones get frightened by the sudden visual changes on the TV but they like the sounds. you can see they prefer your hand up in the air. if you put them on the end of a branch they might like the natural feel of the suspension in the air and it wouldn't tire your arm so much. willow/oak/fruit tree etc they are like rodents they need non-toxic branches to chew and dismantle. they look healthy and happy. good luck.
This video and millet seed just saved my butt. My two lovebirds (Tiki and Berry) flew out of their cage that got knocked over by the wind today. It took a whole hour and three climbed trees to get them back inside. I am so thankful right now. Getting their flight feathers clipped asap. No more nice bird mom.. lesson learned lmaO.
Hello, I just got my love bird yesterday, it's a little less than a year old, wasn't handled by the owners at all, therefore it is not hand tame at all. What steps can I take in order to get it to be friendly and tame like this, and get it to sit on my fingers?
I would find a treat it likes, and try to hand tame it with that. I'd also move its cage into a room that sees the most traffic in your home. You may even explore the possibility of getting it a buddy. Hope this helps.
