oh my god, i found this channel by seraching for cool clock concepts, and what i found is a pure treasure, you are so creative men, all your concepts are awesome, i dont know if you are gonna see this but your work is very inspiring to me
cool clock, for the firmware you could treat the draw space as 7 segment displays then you need to only clear the segment(s) you don't need rather than the left right scrub motion. Can't wait to see further versions !
+Mr covert sure it would work in a ideal world , but u see these steppers have a lot of backlash , and it was pretty hard for me to get it to write even to this point ,by adding springs. also it is more fun to erase the entire digit!!

thanks a lot for your kind comments! Also u can follow me on Instagram @mectolab to see my regular updates
This is TIGHT! One of the most interesting clocks Ive ever seen for sure.
This is definitely more refined than your first version! Nice to see you continued to work on it!

by the time its told you the time it a minute later, cool tho !
What about a second erase coil with a larger core to speed up writing the next digit?
bigger coils tend to pull filing in unwanted cells
Love it :D
thanks :)
It is very cool! You could not share: how did you do it? I will be very grateful to you!
Are you going to share any of the info for this? Like 3d files and arduino code? Would love to build one.
look hard enough u will find it
