A bit of a breakdown of the video: I'm avoiding going too in detail to not spoil everything, but in case people have trouble following what's going on: - A young Wakraya Elber grows up happily beside their brother. Little bits of their daily life as Wak gets older. Things seem happy between them but at some point something makes the brother leave his old life behind and move on. - Simultaneously to his departure, something happens to Wakraya and their home. leaving them bedridden and wounded. A certain group seems invested in their recovery. - Wakraya slowly recovers from their wounds, forms new bonds and is eventually recruited into the Guild that saved them. Quick bits of their adventures as a Guild Member flash, before showing a glimpse of the main force they and their Guild are facing against- The Void Cult. - While daring to face off against them, their expression changes quickly when they 'reunite' with their brother. Happy to reach out to them, but the warmth and emotion they know from their brother is gone, and instead, the worst happens. - Finally, Wak wakes up at the library where she's been napping, reminiscing of those old memories and traumatic events, briefly showing both the emotional, and physical scars left by her past. A bit angsty when put like that, but I hope that serves as a bit of a guideline!

this was so good! love the art and small bits of animation, it's obvious you put a lot of effort into it. this was so well made and it's really cool to see the word wak lived in, as well as bits and pieces of her adventures!! very excited to see more in the future :D

this was so good! it all looks great, minianimations are so cute, especially the streeeetch at the end! and dont think i didnt see the focus on Waks eyes here in contrast to Pandoras(?) from teaser! that was so well made, and it was so cool seeing the backstory, ur hard work definitely paid off! (and now we know the origin of the heart scar, let me just, lie here for a sec ;.; )
Thank you!!! I had a lot of fun trying to, y'know, animate for the first time, and the cute bouncy stretch was just particularly fun to do like that. X3 Eyes and Staredowns tend to be quite important yet, and for some extra context, without spoiling anything, eyes in general sometimes tell some things~. Yeah, I've been reluctant to say much about the Heart Scar precisely waiting for a moment like... This. And if I can elicit a bit of an emotional response in the process, then all the work I put into this is worth it.
