    Well if you can’t use the last couple How To videos you put out on catching catfish with nets, it means you don’t have any catfish in that water. Good stuff Bradley. This should help out a lot of people.

    Love these videos, I was born and raised in Jonesville and know Mr Lee well. I live in Simsboro now and your vidoes have inspired me to start fishing nets again like when i was a kid around Jonesville. thanks for the content and keep the grease hot and the lines wet!

    Bradley: great job on the video - now get the grease hot! Great people in Catahoula parish and believe me, they know how to catch fish. Cheers - Roy

      Yeah Roy, they right in the heart of Louisiana Waterways. That's the think people from other states don't understand when it comes to our liberal limits. Louisiana is 1/3rd water🤣

    wanting to order me a couple of these wire nets could you do a video on showing more detail of dropping them in water and how to hook up on them when trying to find them? are you putting a rope on each end with weights and pulling tight when placing in water like you do on your hoop net videos?

    • @godscountryhuntingfishing1638
      @godscountryhuntingfishing1638  11 месяцев назад +1

      Lots of our videos on hoop nets show how we put them in. Wire nets a little different. You don't have to use two ropes, but I like using a weight or anchor, 50 ft rope on each end small weight on head end. That way it's easy to drag up

  • @RaisedOutdoors
    @RaisedOutdoors 11 месяцев назад +1

    You’re right. Everything you need to know about wire net traps. Just know your laws

    • @godscountryhuntingfishing1638
      @godscountryhuntingfishing1638  11 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly on the laws. Definitely keep it legal. Net fishing has had a bad wrap for years, but most of that stems from unethical, or illegal practices

  • @michaelwall6871
    @michaelwall6871 8 месяцев назад +1

    Question why do you tie your anchor lead on the throat end?

    • @godscountryhuntingfishing1638
      @godscountryhuntingfishing1638  8 месяцев назад +1

      Never. That's just a drag up lead. Anchor is on tail end. We run 50 ft rope and a couple pounds weight on front so we can drop it all on bottom. That allows us to drag it up. Less likely to me messed with that way

    I prefer the block bait over the cheese. And it catches really well.

    • @godscountryhuntingfishing1638
      @godscountryhuntingfishing1638  11 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely the easy, less messy way, but I won't say best catching way. I've seen what cheese will do!!

    If I put one in a creek with flowing current which way should I face it?

    • @godscountryhuntingfishing1638
      @godscountryhuntingfishing1638  3 месяца назад

      The open mouth end, (head of the net) should always be facing down stream. Fish swim up stream, into the current

    The net Co. sells the blocks 6 dollars a piece or if you buy 8 or more 4.40 a bloc and they come 8 to the case. Champlin if I read it right sells a 10 block case for 40 dollars

      Honestly it boils down to getting the best deal for all of us, considering gas for pickup or delivery costs. We're not sponsored by any of them, so it doesn't matter to us. Only ones were sponsored by is Cooters in Farmerville, so locally to North Louisiana, of course we push to buy from them. Cooters also prices fairly as well. For us here in North Louisiana, it's not worth paying shipping or driving down for a few blocks. I think you will find that once the 10 block cases are gone, there won't be anymore. My understanding is all you'll be able to get is 8 count.
