The Bag Balm was originally for cows and in the’90s it was used as a hand moisturizer and used by nursing mothers. It literally is to soothe the udders of a milk cow. We sold it at a craft/sewing store.
So much I’m learning haha
I still use it as a hand moisturizer. That stuff is amazing. I live in CO and the air is very dry and it takes a beating on my hands. I slather Bag Balm right before I go to sleep & wake up with beautifully soft hands.

That bag balm is actually a salve. We used to call it cow salve. It's for the utter that gets chapped from milking. "Bag" balm. We used it for many things growing up. Every single cut and abrasion was doused with bag balm and a bandaid. It has many uses, but I've never used it as a lip balm. Burts Bees is the way to go for that , js 😉

Okay,, the Bag balm...lol i had to stop and rewind this video... we used this product on our dogs ears in the summer when the flies wouldn't leave their ears alone outside when I was growing up.and my parents had our dogs outside. We also put it on our horses ears as well for the same reason..wouldn't put on my lips 💋 💋 lol..have a great weekend..Missed you..

I'm a cosmetologist who is major into diy and the best homemade organic dry shampoo recipe I've tried is Organic Arrowroot Powder. If you're a brunette you can add raw cacao Powder and if your a redhead you can add a little paprika to adjust color. I also mix in a few drops of lavender essential oil and a few drops of rosemary essential oil bc rosemary is awesome for your scalp health and helps with thinning hair. I keep mine in any random empty spice shakers I have laying around. The best way to apply it is to shake it on cheap make-up brush and tap it on your roots with the brush. You can also shake it directly on the scalp and then pat in with the make-up brush. If all that sounds like way to much effort the brand ACURE makes a clean organic dry shampoo too. It's not in an aresol can either but it works! If you could care less about organic but still want a semi clean and vegan dry shampoo that is aresol VERB is where it's at. The regular is the typical white powder but the brunette is such a light brown I prefer that over the white bc it doesn't leave as much of a white cast. (And I'm blonde for the record)! Hope this helps someone lol.

I hung all my dvds and cds I still have, n my stairway on the wall, as decor lol, i get so many compliments. Just staggered a bunch of nails, spaced out and love that I can switch up the different cool pix on the actual Cds, and DVD( we have all 10 season of friends and love)

Love the longer videos, no matter the content! My grandmother, who grew up on a farm in PA, used Bag Balm her whole life, for everything. I could smell it as soon as you showed it. Brings back lovely memories.

Bag balms good for feet/elbows. Used it as hand lotion up north, winter wrecked my skin, and the ole Corn Huskers brand lotion. Love that stuff.

When the kids were little I used bag balm for diaper rash. It was great.

On Amazon you can get empty lipstick cylinders you can use to put the bag balm in for your lips. They also have little pots you can fill that you can swipe your finger in for your lips.

Tried the Laneige lip mask. Did not like it. I don't think I will try the bag balm. I have used it for my hands and it doesn't smell great. I tried the very inexpensive Wet & Wild perfect pout sleep lip mask and I adore it. It is a staple and I hope they do not stop making it. I am considering that bracelet-watch box! I have a similar tin called Dr Naylor Udder Balm. I use it on my lips, around cuticles, etc. I keep it right at my desk. It's a big tin like the bag balm but I'd read it was better. Who knows, but I like it. It has lanolin so I think it probably is effective.

Jen, I figured out the denim belt situation. You had it backwards.😮 It took me a hot minute to noodle through it. The opening goes in the front to overlap. I think you should give a corset belt another try with some Spring fashions.

That whipped cream reminds me of the working hands cream that is pretty good if your hands are really sore and chapped you put that on your hands at nighttime least that's what I do and put some socks over your hands and then when you wake up your hands are much more softer

Hey KiKi! Based on my experience from really scary shapewear to comfy shapewear…these definitely lean towards pretty easy to put on. I’d describe them maybe as putting on leggings. A couple extra tugs compared to putting on baggy sweats that require no tugs lol!

My mom used to use Bag Balm a few decades ago for her hands and then she’d put some thin white cotton gloves over it. She had some kind of dermatitis that made her hands crack and bleed 🩸 😮. Anyway, it was the only thing that helped. It really doesn’t smell good at all! People really put this on their lips ?? 😮
