Very entertaining, and really good mic setup, the audio is great. These retro playthrough videos from the 80s and 90s are always fun to watch. Sounds like a fun endeavor, look forward to more!
@ginger_gaming_channel that was gaming back then. The game never lived up to the cover or the write up on the back of the box. The Konami ninja turtle game broke my six year old heart.
This is one of those games I was blissfully unaware of at the time and didn't learn of until many years later. I had moved onto Sega Genesis and Turbografx by this point. So while some of my peers were playing this I was playing Bonk's Revenge and Streets Of Rage 1.
His in-world sprite before you talk to him is what I was talking about. It looks like he's wearing some kind of helmet, almost like Boba Fett's with the T-shapes visor.
Also the gray coloring doesn't match the blue outfit I would have expected. Of course the full-face frame with the dialog box looks fantastic, as does every other one in the game.
This game sucked ass when it was new. Even when I was a kid, I knew my parents had wasted their money renting it from Blockbuster. But I had it all weekend so I played the shit out of it. Don’t think I even got to Dagobah :p Super hard game!
This is just plain bad, especially for a NES game. It could have been so much better. It feels like the atari 2600 ESB version. The sounds is similar for sure.

Thanks! It's good to hear that the mic sounds good, that took awhile to figure out
Luke jumps like a frog, lowkey insettling.
Love how the game just decides to do its own thing once you hit the Bespin section. Canon? Who's that? XD
Frog Luke can rewrite the timeline at will. He's too dangerous to be left alive! XD
Super Star Wars won't be much better as far as Canon. They made these to be games first, accurate....like 24th.
@@tonyjackson4078 I just played Super Star Wars today. You are 100% correct.
"is this gameplay exciting to anyone?" Yeah In 1991 this was the best star wars game you could play that wasn't in the arcade.
Yeah, I tend to get a little cynical in the moment. Looking back after the fact the game is pretty good. That small section was a bit boring though.

great video and you just gained your first Brazilian subscriber
Does this mean I have to go to Brazil?

The jumps in this game remind me of the gameboy dragon's lair with how uncontrollable they are.
Every star was game ever!? What a task holy crap
Yeah it's going to take awhile, but when I'm done I'll be the expert
@ 30:11 ummmm how does that "look nothing like Lando"? It's very clearly Billy Dee and a pretty good rendition of him too for the NES.

@@ginger_gaming_channel oh lol OK yeah then I agree 100%.

If I ever had the game as a kid, I never would have gotten past the first underground river on Hoth. Thankfully that never happened.
