McNasty would be a cutscene skipper in a story heavy game. Thats like buying a console just to play sports games.
People who actually skip cutscenes in games are the types of people who have really dumb opinions when it comes to gaming and good writing in general.
I actually prefer a good gameplay loop over story because a gameplay loop is what is actually going to keep me playing past the completion of the story, however I certainly wouldn't skip cutscenes I've never seen for the story of a game I'm playing. Connor (CDawgVA) has mentioned a few times on Trash Taste that he also does this, and it genuinely baffles me.
I know it's silly to get offended over opinions or preferences but this is one specific preference that I don't understand and find absurdly stupid. It's like watching a movie but only watching the action scenes and skipping everything else. It's fucking dumb. Low IQ content creators lol.
Skipping cutscenes is shite, but Elden Ring is not a story heavy at all ro

I had a similar experience with ADHD meds as a kid (Concerta). I can definitely say that while medicating a child with ADHD does have it's risks, it's much better to see what works for your brain as a child so that you can develop into a healthy adult later on in life (people who have ADHD and remain unmedicated are at higher risk of dangerous or addictive behaviors). As with ANY meds that have an effect on the brain, it's largely trial and error in finding what works best for you/your child. As for why ADHD meds calm down people with the disorder and wire up people that don't have it: a vast majority of ADHD medications are stimulant meds meant to help in the production and binding of Dopamine and Norepinephrine in the brain. For people with ADHD, our brains don't produce them enough naturally and so we are ALWAYS looking for whatever will give us more of it. Unmedicated, this can largely result in addictive behaviors in seek of the next rush, depression, and bursts of hyperactive mania. The stimulant meds bring us to levels of Dopamine and Norepinephrine close to that of the average person, which is why it has that calming effect. If it's too much Dopamine or Norepinephrine, it could have the effect of calming too much, which can be why many people (kids in particular) enter that zombie-like state. AND BEFORE SOME SMARTASS COMPARES ADHD MEDS TO METH: Despite being largely in the methyl or amphetamine family, calling ADHD meds the same as smoking meth is like saying your shitty drawing of a triangle is the same as a fucking fully built pyramid. They're similar in shape or concept, but you're fucking out of your mind if you think they are the same.
Now I'm gonna step off of my soapbox and say that I absolutely fucking love this podcast and you guys are easily my favorite group of youtubers! Keep up the good content, I can't wait for more!

As a person with ADHD I just wanna say that without adderall, it's difficult to even get out of bed. And not like the "too lazy" or "just dont wanna" or "too depressed" difficult. I mean it is physically and mentally difficult to stand up. And not to mention, it makes my life a helluva lot easier.
You guys are the perfect example of why MORE people need to play the souls borne games by from software. Your new found affections for this game simply remind me why I've always enjoyed them, as someone who is autistic and adhd (very high functioning didn't know of either until well into adulthood) these games have always scratched an itch that I have for needing to struggle in games lol

Gets you aquatinted with more of the local acts near you/the places you’ve been playing.
Gets dem toes in the water of any bands you might like playing alongside/getting to know.
But for bigger steps into the industry, going pro agent/agency and promoters, over back alley bookies is definitely the way.
And honestly there’s no stigma to it, or need to stress “who to talk to,” google is your friend, my friend.
Who you choose is just what guy/group looks best to you.

I got a story time that I believe you guys would love. So at my school we have a few special needs kids that have their own teachers, one of the kids name is ammo, he’s a really fat kid (with I believe downs) that’s probably at least 400lbs. A few years ago when I was in grade 9 ammo suddenly snapped and started punching people and threw one of the special needs teacher (who was probably 60+ years old) into a wall making her go to the hospital and hit one of my friends making her get stitches, and just a few months ago he snapped again and he put his arms above his head in an X and charged like a bull init the same teacher pushing her into wall and the paramedics had to come and the police came and had to tackle this 400lbs special needs kid and put him into a police car, of course he didn’t get in trouble because he’s a special needs kid but he didn’t come to school for a week or so. Because of this and some of my friends being on the football team I made the joke that ammo should be on the football team even bringing up “what he lacks in intelligence he makes up for in execution” and that we should put a cookie on a fishing rod to make him run. And a few days later another special Ed kid who’s this like 4 foot girl got tackled by the police because she tried killing someone and had drugs on her.
I know this sounds fake but I’m being 100% honest this is not a joke my schools weird (it’s Canadian that’s probably why)

I am complety new to souls games in the sense of playing, but I have watched every single playthrough of every souls game at the same time, and I've always seen that magic is EZ mode on most of these games (I am not saying you should not use it, it is in the game you can do whatever you want) so I choose vagabons because Knight, and I got clappled the first 2 hours, but seven hours in I defeated Margit The Fell Omen with level 15. Never felt like such a gamer.
Magic is EZ mode until you get to the magic area and everything is resistant to magic

I've also been playing Destiny 2, I stopped playing like a year ago with the SunSetting weapons and armor, which just sounded bad, plus removing content. But they reversed Sunsetting and the content removal sounded bad but was done well.

On the topic of Among Us Dev's, they had released the game and it wasn't popular right away. Because they were small they decided to just work on the sequel so when it blew up they had to switch back. Hackers started ruining it so they spent a lot of time trying to fix things on it as they hadn't made it in an AAA game. They hired a few more people but were struggling because of the poor monetization they had put in. It's a right game, wrong time thing for the devs
Highly doubt anyone from the goons is gonna see this but I'll give it a shot: since Mcnasty likes deathcore, same with Blarg, I highly recommend the following bands: Vinnytsia Fatalities, Defamed, Desolate Blight, Human Betrayer, Primordial Swarm, Elysia, Dark Pariah and lastly: The Grieving Process. All these bands are VERY good deathcore and I feel like all of you might like these bands in all honesty.

Yea I'm 16 and I had a short attention span untill my little brother got me into a pokemon phase and I would shiny hunt and that just fixed the problem because of all the patients you need for that shit.
Elden ring looks like an amazing game so far from the trailer and the small walkthroughs I've watched. The thing is, I dont know if I need to play dark souls and bloodborne, assuming they have a connection, in order for me to understand elden ring. It seems interesting and I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.
You do not need to play any of the previous games. Elden Ring's setting is totally separate from the previous FromSoft games. So go ahead and enjoy it as a fresh experience!
The only tip i'll give to avoid spoiling the experience would be to make sure to talk to NPCs multiple times to get all their dialogue. New dialogue also may not show up until after leaving, doing something, and coming back.

Question for Soup and Dooo blarg and mcnasty feel free to give some advice and your thoughts if any. As someone who is into music and mainly like soup metal and rock and wants to pick up an instrument (bass) are there any tips or advice to begin with or anything you'd recommend from personal experience that one should learn?
The castles are always prime areas to invade because the invaders don't get targeted by NPCs. Elden Ring doesn't have the item either, that I've seen at least, to make NPCs hostile to invaders. That was always funny to watch an invader stand blatantly in the middle of a bunch of enemies, only for you to activate the item and they get demolished
That would be great if all 3 of you played elden ring together.
