Really. I think young monomer is universal. I use that monomer with mostly all of my acrylics. I usually stick brand with brand but most of the time I gravitate toward young nails monomer because I have more of it. And I haven’t had a problem with it with other acrylics. That’s why I was surprised when you said that lol.

YN monomer works best with its own powder. It’s not bad with other powders but there is a difference in bead application with it while I’m using it with other powders. Mia Secret is universal, I get the same consistency no what what powder I’m using. I’ll pick MIA monomer over YN monomer any-day. I love there powders, but definitely won’t buy their monomer anymore unless it’s dirt cheap. (Still a good monomer though) 🙃☺️

@@MomLifeBeauty yes I understand what you mean. I just haven’t had that problem with YN monomer with other brands of acrylics. I think Mia secret is great too. . I agree Mia secret is very universal.
