    For other struggle bugs who have no crocheting term knowledge...
    The first round creates six braids on the outside and you stab into the very first chain loop.
    The second round you stab through the two loops that make a braid and make a chain. Then stab through that same loop and make a chain before going to the next one. Go until you complete the round.
    The third round you do two chains per braid, then a single chain for a braid, back and forth until you finish the round.
    The fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds are one chain per braid.
    Pretty much the pattern written in the pinned can be explained like how I just did.

    • @lloann1895
      @lloann1895 Год назад +17

      I think there is an error at round 11 and that it should be repeat 7 times,instead of 8. It is more coherent since in the repetition you crochet on 3 stitches and 3*7+1=22 and 22 is the number of stitches on the previous row

      @@UnDedCharger yay i found this comment. i've been struggling for half an hour because i could calculate the right amount of stitches (i'm doing a little bigger toy so i had to calculate thoroughly because it's not an easy round shape here, it should be symmetrical)

    so i made one as like- a christmas gift for my mom and within the past day i've made a total of four and a half 💀. my friends and i even have a whole story line to them like there's one named phillip but it's pronounced with a british accent and he's the duck leader but he also has an evil counterpart like- long story short: the pattern is really good and i love it a lot :')

    Hi there! I followed the tutorial and encountered this for round 11: I only was able to get 7 repeats done. I even counted the stitches compared to how many you got and it still ended up being 15 stiches. According to my math, it should have been 17 stiches if it were repeated 8 times, but repeat 7 and it's 15 like shown. Maybe I'm counting my repeats incorrectly, but thought I should let you know just in case! Love the duck so much!

    • @_tinypierrot_7193
      @_tinypierrot_7193 Год назад +3

      You are right. It's 7 repeats, not 8. I even counted how many were done in the video, still seven. I thought I was doing something wrong lol
