    Agreed, people pick the one single off the album, and blast it for months, and it starts to get annoying, because, in my opinion, every song off the album is just as good as the single, but they never get any airtime.

    "Drop C#...but not confuse you, Drop Db." Maybe it's just the musician in me, but I love music theory humor lol.

    Can anyone explain the tuning to me and how to tune my guitar to it?
    I know half step down but he said something like its dropped too "Drop C Sharp"???
    I know how to tune half step down and standard tuning but other than that I'm lost.
    Help?!?!

    • @ronleander69
      @ronleander69 9 лет назад

      the strings should go C# G# C# F# A# D# from thickest to thinnest. Tune the guitar to drop d ( D A D G B E) and then its just a half step lower than that. one of the simple ways to explain it is bar the whole guitar on the first fret and tune it to drop d. And the once you let off it will be dropped c sharp or dropped d flat like they say. Its just whatever people want to call it but they are the same thing. its the same as tuning flat with standard tuning your low string is just tuned to C# instead of d#

      Aaron Leander
      Okay maybe I know what you're talking about.. so I can't tune by ear just yet so I use a tuner but I do know a trick to drop the thickest E to D and then half step down I could put a capo on the first fret and tune everything else normally right? that being half step down or so I've always done. Sound right to you or?

    • @ronleander69
      @ronleander69 9 лет назад +1

      Yes. Tune the guitar to drop d with the capo on the first fret and then once you take the capo off it will be c#g#c#f#a#d#

      That’s because Chad Kroeger co-wrote the lyrics of the first album.
      Take notice “What You Deserve” is literally the ripped instruments from “Where Do I Hide.”😉
