36:46 it happened when you dove head first into the fire to collect the gold that the potion thrower dropped while still holding your water potion. So fire got into your water potion and is now continually mixing with the water converting it to steam. You now need to entirely dump the contents of the potion and fill it with water to regain a water potion.

1:45:40 no it’s your obsession with plasma spells that got you killed. Not only was it constantly chipping your hp away, but it got reflected a couple of times from enemy shields causing it to come back to you for massive damage.

57:18 a multiplier of 0.40 isn’t adding speed. It’s reducing it by 60%.

1:35:33 it wasn’t a downgrade, you just stopped logically following the casting of your wand again.
You went from a 3 cast wand to a single cast wand so you needed to compensate for that and you had the tools for it, but you immediately threw them away.
You could have done reduce spread > double cast > chainsaw > spark bolt with trigger > bloodlust > triple cast (the ones you threw away) > chainsaw x 3
If you had done that, your damage would have exploded. You NEED to be mapping the wands. By that I mean follow what each click would do.
Now this you wouldn’t know about so I won’t hold it against you, but one of the shop wands had piercing. Piercing is a very powerful spell modifier. When put on a trigger spell, such as your spark bolt with trigger, the projectile will travel through the enemy and each pixel of travel it will release its payload. So if you had triple chainsaw, it would release the triple chainsaw over and over again while it travels through the enemy.
It’s also powerful on healing bolt. The reason is similar to the effect on trigger, the heal bolt will travel through you and every pixel as it passes will trigger a heal. You could get healing in the hundreds off of one heal bolt with this method, but you still need to figure out how to reliably get heal bolt to touch you.

If you watch your health during the final two minutes of the video, you can actually see the plasma beam lasers slowly ticking down your health the entire time. Lukki isnt the best but he was unfairly blamed 😔

Nice observation about the more you play the worse you get. Have been playing a lot of rogue lites/likes lately (TBOI, Slay the Spire, Noita) and I like to call it the curse of the experienced player: If you are new to the game, you have lots of short runs and die a lot until you accidentally get an overpowered item and are having a great run. But the more experienced you get, you will have longer runs, but are less likely to get accidentally overpowered. So it feels that you are getting worse. Only when you get into expert player territory, you can make a winning run out of every random seed, but until then, expect to have mediocre runs for most of the time.
