You really nailed the aesthetics and functionality with this build. The curtains are very attractive with the light wood. Nordic quality. I particularly like the way you made the entrance so spacious.
I have a Ford Econoline Van and converting it right now to an RV, mine will also have a sit-down shower and composting toilet. Thanks for the video and good luck camping.
2000 Econoline Van shower will be at the back and centered with a drain that goes to a small 5 gal. tank under the van that I can drain. I used a 24"x24" shower pan with a corner drain so I could sit my water prof composting toilet inside to sit on. Also installed a small water heater and pump unit. An enclosed water blader on the roof rack gives me 50 gals. of fresh water. I still have room on the sides at the rear for storage. @@sebastianprince7337
I will be a full-time nomad and wanted all the same things I had in my trailer. With a little engineering, all is good and it's only me so no problem with room. @@CampSailGo
1998 Econoline passenger van here. Mine isn't a build out, but it is set up for camping & travel. I'm still trying to figure out ac for hot weather. I have dual air, so don't want to cut through the roof. My van only has a payload of 1800 #'s, so no heavy build for it. I saw that you like to restore vintage campers as well. I also have a 1974 Silver Streak that I renovated. I too am in SE Texas. 🇨🇱 Have fun!! Nice build.
Would love to see how you actually did the pull put bed! If you set up the camera somewhere, we may be able to see. I am curious because I can tell it's not a slat bed which I'm trying to avoid.
You may have mentioned in the video but, how many miles are on it and does it have the 5.4l? i've seen a few 2004 e350's i'd be interested in but i'm hesitant because it's the first year they started putting the 3v 5.4's in these vans, and they already had a somewhat prevalent issue with the spark plugs blowing out.
Beautiful, but that amount of wood scares me 😱 when it comes to weight . I want my build as light as possible but unfortunately it might mean it won’t look as nice 😢

Same.. I would like to have links to the lights. Nice build! I have e350 extended and yours looks way bigger!! 👍🏼 and to anyone out there... I need a good step by step on how to build a cabinet. If anyone has a link for that...? Help a girl out!

That's a pretty big investment of space and energy. We only do short trips so baby wipes have proved to be pretty effective.

Quite a minimalist (which is a quality in my opinion) and ingenious layout. 🎉
cool, enjoy, safe travels.
Nice rig! How do you like the low roof & Do you use the ac much?
Awesome layout 👍
Glad you like it
Very nice job. Are the lights rechargeable & where did you find them?
I want some of those lights, too.
Yes, they are rechargeable. They last long enough for a week long trip of casual use. I just added a link in a pinned comment. Thanks for watching.
Nice and open...love it !
Thanks!
Same year, same van except I have the extended version. Mine is completely different. Kind of wild how many ways it can be done.
Great setup!

I'll try to post a follow up on just the bed. It is actually a modified slat bed, but with a 1/4" plywood cover to keep it a bit cleaner.
Nice built

Do you have a link to the finials you bought, or do you know what the thread is to match? Looking to do the same with mine!
Let me check on the finials. What do you mean by thread? The curtain wire?
