The most important celebration is following the sunnah no doubt. However that IS NOT A PROOF against the mawlid.
The best way to celebrate the birth of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is to fast on a Monday.
If we were to spend the 12th of Rabi al Awwal in remembering the death, we would be sad all the time and resemble shia people.
Whoever says "You must do the mawlid" is doing a bid'a.

The Prophet sallaAllahu alayhi wa sallam himself did not celebrate, Sahaba did not celebrate, the rightly guided khalifs did not celebrate, the four imams did not celebrate. What if some Ulama have permitted? There also other Ulama who said it's not permitted. An alim should express his opinion/ijtidad with proofs from Quran and Sunnah otherwise we can not say that this ijtihad/opiion is a proof by itself. And yes, Mawlid is not a simple gathering, it's like and Eid but in Islam we have only two eids. That's it. Prophet used to fast every Monday and Thursday. This is the Sunnah.

While the discourse presented was insightful, it neglected a pivotal aspect underpinning the concept of bid'ah (innovation) in Islamic jurisprudence. It is crucial to discern that not all forms of bid'ah are deemed impermissible; a nuanced understanding is required. The reliance on a hadith whose matn (text) generically employs the term "every" should not be hastily categorised as Qat'i (definitive evidence), given its Dhanni (speculative) nature. Such evidential classification matters profoundly within Sharia, where differentiation in rulings is commonplace. If this distinction were acknowledged, the nature of the discussion would fundamentally shift. The panel, along with a significant portion of the Muslim audience who adhere to a stringent interpretation of Hukum (laws) in Sharia, appears to overlook this critical nuance. This collective oversight propagates the misleading assertion that all bid'ah is unequivocally unacceptable, which starkly diverges from a more considered theological analysis.
Incorporating the critical analysis of evidentiary decisiveness, we must consider two integral aspects:
Qata’iyy ath-Thabut (Decisiveness of Establishment): This refers to evidence that is definitively established, such as the Qur’an and Mutawatir traditions, which are beyond any doubt due to their absolute authenticity and universal acceptance. These sources are devoid of any potential errors, weaknesses, or falsehoods. In stark contrast stands Dhanniyy ath-Thubut, which includes evidence that may be prone to errors or inaccuracies, such as weak narrations.
Qata’iyy ad-Dalalah (Decisiveness of Indication): For evidence to be deemed decisive in this regard, it must conclusively address the topic under discussion, leaving no room for valid alternative interpretations that could negate the derived ruling. An exemplar of such decisive indication is the evidentiary basis for Wudhu (ablution) being a commanded practice within Shari’ah and the understanding that lying about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) constitutes a graver sin than falsehoods concerning others. Conversely, Dhanniyy ad-Dalalah encompasses evidence that, despite being based on reliable sources, does not conclusively settle an issue due to the presence of various interpretative possibilities or textual variances. A pertinent example of this can be observed in the debate over the method of ablution-specifically the act of wiping over the feet. While the Shi’ah perspective might cite a Qur'anic verse as definitive, the Sunnah adherents favour Hadiths that explicitly advocate for washing the feet, deemed both Qat’iyy ath-Thabut and Qat’iyy ad-Dalalah, thereby reflecting a higher standard of scriptural decisiveness and relevance.
Incorporating these distinctions into our theological discourse not only enriches the debate but also ensures a more rigorous and holistic approach to interpreting Islamic jurisprudence, highlighting the necessity of differentiating between types of evidential certainty in our understanding of bid'ah and broader Shariah laws.
When talking about the origins of Biddah (innovation) is Islam, Imam as al-Sanusi r.a mentioned in his book 'Al Muqaddimat', that one of the main origins of innovation and being misguided is “ignorance in both the rules of logic and the Arabic language”

    Fea Allah brothers.
Mawlid is considered an act of worship that draws someone closer to Allah by the ones that do it, the sahaba or Rasolullah sallalahu alahi wa salam never celebrated mawlid, innovating an act of worship that wasnt done by the sahaba or Rasolullah sallalahu alahi wa salam is a bidah, therefore celebrating mawlid is a bidah.
The evilest matters in religion are those that are newly invented, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.”

You claim that celebrating the Mawlid is bidah .
My question to you is this:Who gave you the authority for declaring every bidah as haram? You don't even know the basic in Islam and you are giving fatwas.
I suggest you study on the subject of bidah when do do you will learn that a bidah is to introduce something new in Islam that goes against the Quran and Sunnah but who introduce a good practice in Islam earns the reward of it.
I can give you many examples of new innovations in Islam that the Ummah is benefitting from.
