    People think the traffic is bad at Fedex but if they rebuild at rfk the traffic there will be so much worse. 295 will be a nightmare.
    What about near MGM and the national harbor?

      There was some talk about the national harbor site a few months back...thing is, Maryland is the one who had that spot in PG county...they pulled out of talks. The front office seems focused on either the RFK site or the spot near Dulles.

      Most people would metro to the game if it was at the old RFK site.

    Great insight. Put it in DC for the love of god. Out by Dulles??? Yuck. That would basically be the VA equivalent of FedEx.

    Gotta put it at rfk I've been wanting that for so many years. Or maybe a new spot inside city lines we haven't thought about

    From RFK to FED EX to Virginia?? Dam that sounds ODD

    • @HTTR
      @HTTR  5 лет назад +2

      They've been up on the hill trying to get it pushed through...just not sure if they can get that final push. If it ends up in Virginia then you will know Snyder didn't want to fund the entire project himself...DC is gonna make him foot the ENTIRE bill without any public money for the RFK site.

    I live next to the field about 5 minutes. The problem was how they managed traffic and trains and etc. not the location

    Put it on the old RFK site! FedEx field is a nightmare to get to and leave from. It's a shit hole stadium and it's located in DC's asshole. It's horrendous. We had great years at the RFK site, They should put it back there! if its in DC, most people will metro to the game anyways.

    But you have to remember, Virginia is BY FAR the largest state with no pro sports stadiums. Maryland is smaller and they have two! How is that fair? Many Virginians like myself have waited our entire lives for pro sports. We deserve this !!

      That will never change as long as Snyder owns the team...too much history.

    Anywhere would be better than Landover. I’ve been to Fedex twice and it’s a nightmare driving there. The RFK site would be the logical choice. Of course I would like to see it in the Commonwealth too!

      Fedex was ten years behind the times when it opened. JKC did us no favors putting it in the middle of nowhere as well.

    Bro they going back to RFK.

    • @HTTR

      The city is reusing the RFK site for other things and said, "that ship has sailed." RFK itself is set for demolition in 2022, it was et for 2020, but COVID happened. Nothing new has come up on this topic for quite some time. The last thing we heard was Maryland AND Va were offering Sndyer a sportsbook to build there...then of course this year happened with all the drama among the ownership group and other issues.

      @@HTTR Probably MD cause VA commonwealth is not raising taxes for a stadium. We went through this in a 96' with the Redskins stadium proposal in Arlington, and basketball in Virginia Beach. I'm from Hampton VA so we'll see. Thanks for the great info!
