See Pharrell is the main person that does the songwriting/vocal production/demo’s for the artists, he just gives Chad writing credits because that’s his boy. Chad is still a genius but Pharrell contributes more to the song creation process.
Hell nah, yes Pharrell does much of the songwriting, vocals and beats. But Chad and Pharrell are the Neptune sound. Pharrell alone doesn’t have anything that can compare to the Neptune sound. I wouldn’t put anyone over anyone.
It's a shame to me that this group had to end. I know that all things, good or bad, must come to an end. However, they had a nice sound. I don't understand the industry. It's strange that Destiny's Child was basically running it for 8 yrs, member changes and all, & 702 shared fans w/ them?!? My point is, there should've been room in the spotlight for 702 also, if that's the case. Was DC really that much strong of a group than 702? I wish 702 would reunite.
I would say that Destiny’s Child is way stronger as a group. Their over all presentation was far more polished. And ALL three ladies in DC can hold their own very well vocally. On top of Kelly and Michelle seeming very secure with their contribution to the group, I can’t say the same for Misha and Irish.
