The whole album is amazing! like i genuinely can't pick a favourite?! Roses is just phenomenal but i also love dandelions because of how fluffy and cute it feels. Also Smoke....the meaning behind the song and mv is so interesting and makes me love the song even more and lastly Completely... i don't see anyone talking about this song (T-T) , i genuinely had tears in my eyes while i was listening to the song.. idek why it might be the piano, his dreamy voice, or even the emotion behind his voice 🤷🏽♀ well whatever it is, i loved it and it holds a special place in my heart. Jaehyun has truly created a masterpiece with his album "J", whoever's reading this, please go and stream his songs and don't let the actions of "certain people" affect him! The album is like going through my 90's r&b faves from Usher, Maxwell, Babyface (who co-wrote "Can't get you" for Jaehyun!), and Ne-Yo just to name a few. Thank you for your reaction!
BEST solo kpop release of 2024 for sure!! Can't get you is my song of the year across all genres. It's so INCREDIBLY beautiful. The build up of the instruments, the vocals, the sexy mood. EVERYTHING.
I totally get what you mean about hearing one version of the song first cuz im kind of the same way... Like for example NCT 127's song Limitless I had my playlist on and Apple Music did a recommend next song and it's was Limitless but the Japanese version and I was like um nope sorry I need the Korean version asap. But funny enough with Smoke I actually prefer the english version more cuz I feel like it flowed really well.

Also about the piano maybe its to show how raw the song is? Atleast thats what it felt like to me. Its not a polished refined song just straight from the heart and emotional and heavy so for me the piano was kinda really good

And also his other sub unit with other 2 members of 127 called "Dojaejung" I think some of their songs is the style of music you like.
