I'm from Australia and I'd heard about Hollyoakes for years but I'd never seen an episode. I saw a few shorts and this storyline in particular and the acting has been something incredible to watch. It's really compelling and impactful to see such an issue handled in this way. I'm hooked and will be looking forward to starting my journey from the first episode so I can get to know everyone.

Honestly, for him as a parent or anyone as a parent, hearing your child, did something like this is gonna be one of the worst feelings in the world. Knowing they caused someone physical, especially sexual and mental pain would make me sick.

And why didn't they play the original 90's Hollyoaks theme during Tom and Cindy's exit? At least that would've added nostalgia and made their departures seem more worthwhile at least.

Gordon, Helen, Mandy, Jude and Lewis. As for Sally, I'll obviously miss her because she became such a presence on the show and I like how the McQueen's adopted her and made her family even after Myra left.
What I don't get is that when Hannah falsely accused Gilly of touching her, Suzanne almost immediately believed her...I know Gilly never did that to Hannah but she still believed her daughter. And now she can't believe Frankie. Hopefully she opens her eyes.
Suzanne is playing the role of some parents who really dont believe their children when confronted with the fact that they've either been abused or have been the one abusing. Unfortunately this is a realistic thing that happens and should be potrayed
