I was totally in the middle of printing photos to do this exact album. My daughter is 5 and I have 5 years worth of costumes and fun fall things that I want in one place too. I have my photos printed already. Just need to sit and put together.
Last week I started a Past and Present Halloween album for mostly my grandkid’s Halloween from about 7 years to now. I like that you have a design formula. I wish I started mine like that. It’s ok tho. I love your start. Thanks
I think Im going to do a Halloween and a Christmas for the past 7 years when my husband and I moved to New Mexico! This move was not a permanent, lifetime commitment so we will be moving back East next Spring. I started a Christmas album dated 2022, however, I changed my mind and decided to use pictures of our entire 5 years while we have lived in the mountainous village of Ruidoso, NM!
Love this. I’m also in the positive of having to pull some older photos from scrapbook pages - do you have any tips on the best way to photograph them? Are you using your phone? I’m not the best photographer and I’m worried they won’t be good enough quality to blow up.
Hi! Yes, I'm just using my phone! I took a photo of those smaller photos from the layout and enlarged them to 7x8.25 and it turned out great! I'm okay with some grain in those photos also - that doesn't bother me at all (especially since they are looking back/older photos).
This is so cool! I looooove your Halloween Kits, but as an european girl I don‘t have any Halloween stories to tell 😅 maybe I should start celebrating halloween to make albums 😂
Ha! You can also use this formula for other compilation albums you might do too! Maybe there's a holiday or event you do each year that could fit in this format.
