- Fire Emblem Three Houses for the Nintendo Switch is an amazing game, and in this video i will go through the start of the Black Eagles route, with edelgard, and not blue lions or golden deer with dimitri or claude. i mean honestly edelgard would be great in Super Smash Bros Ultimate as dlc announced in a future Nintendo Direct, or maybe as more outfits in Fire Emblem Heroes for nintendo mobile

This is going to get buried, but that's not a radar. While we associate those symbols with radar nowadays, they're standard graphing and drafting rules used since Descartes, a Renaissance mathematician. If you think back to high school math, the cartesian coordinate system helps you ordinate the radius and diameter of fixed circles.
It's used for drafting, which makes sense if you're analyzing the physical layout of a Crest. You can use the Cartesian coordinates and circles to help orient details of the Crest.

THEY ARE NOT NUKES(if you mean the "Pillars of light") they are NOT even a rocket or bomb.. they are littery just Rods that are dropped on the target area. they are a Kinetic Bombardment system. it infuriates me that everyoen just calls them nukes
@@weberman173 They do have some odd residual effects though, perhaps caused by magic. i.e. a valley they were dropped on has remained fiery and volcanic for centuries afterward. The way they effected Rhea when she was hit by them also makes some people compare it to radiation sickness.

"Explore to-" recruit people and make byleth extra godlike.
"Seminar to-" waist your turn
"Battle to-" level up everyone and learn shitloads of proficiency and get shitloads of items and class xp and relationship points and get motivation and money and make catgirls real.
"Rest to-" waist your turn slightly more.
Yeah...they didn't balance that choice to well. It's almost objectively correct to explore first weekend and then battle on all the others but it makes the game even more trivial than it already is.
I usually wind up exploring as much as possible, then battling on the last day before the mission. The 10 points granted from being Prof. Rank A make Explore kinda broken on NG+. The only reason why you wouldn't explore is if you need to level, or you have everyone maxed out on their ranks.
@@emblemwarrior11 Course on maddening difficulty you're likely to find yourself battling more since leveling up is a lot slower.
I'm just speaking in terms of being optimal. Battle gives you way too much bang for your buck compared to everything else. While explore definitely has value, seminar is the "Just let me get to the next story bit" option and rest is just worthless.
Ultimately having higher profressor rank isn't THAT useful aside from making byleth have high profs. You can level up supports easy enough during battle. I suppose it also lets you use the A+ rank forging options.
Of course, the game is not nearly hard enough that you need to worry about being optimal. You could probably get through the game fairly easily just resting at every chance.
@@AWanderingSwordsman I have a feeling that the devs put Rest in the game for people who wanted a more linear FE. Like how the older games were chapter to chapter.
@@emblemwarrior11 i would use rest when i needed a large amount of students to be motivated before i got to A+ in professor level and charge up the sword of the creator the weekend before any big battles (like gronder or final bosses)

I also chose Black Eagles as the first house to side with, but that's because I'm the kinda guy who likes to save the best part of a meal for last. In hindsight it was definitely the right choice, Blue Lions and Golden Deer were far superior in my opinion.

Honestly, I also did my first run as Black Eagles, but I didn't necessarily do it just to hop on the bandwagon. I actually picked it randomly from the three choices, cuz I plan on playing all the routes anyway. 🤗🙃

"Heavy armor, horse, and flying, not sure why it's only those 3". Because you can't just equip those in battle to get xp like you can every other proficiency so the only way to raise it early on is lecture, goals, and group tasks. Once you get enough to class change into something that needs it, it will then go up in battle as that class.
