I'm a little disappointed you don't have all these masterpieces up on Spotify. I mean your normal music is fine but it doesn't speak to us intellectuals quite like the fake genre songs.
For those who want the names of the animes: Redneck Future Bass: Snow white with the red hair Acapella Dubstep: Patena Inverted Ambiennt Drill: Erased Apple Core: Izetta the last witch Haven't seen any of these, but google is your friend :) Hope I got them all right.
Honestly the a capella Dubstep thing is super fascinating because it highlights how much the genre itself mimics human vocal sounds. It’s interesting as hell! Also this whole video is fantastic.
@@shuji558 the Burial / Hyperdub style is UK Garage which has been around much longer than drill, but I suppose there's a lot of elements between that and ambient drill, lol.
Acapella dubstep ended up sound super old skool datsik and excision. Good shit bro... also ambient drill was straight 🔥👌 that bass line tied with those little chirps and echo was fuckin perfect
I am not even joking when I say that Bishu basically re-created modern "Bro-Country" music with redneck future bass. The lyrics are unironically what they say, the pattern is the same, the electronic elements, etc. It's basically the same as any Luke Bryan or Florida-Georgia Line song
Acapella dubstept was literally dubstep but all the sounds were made from your voice. I mean, it makes sense, it just wasn't my first thought and I'm confused as to why it wasn't.
this has to be the best unrelated YT recommendation i've ever gotten. I was crying laughing for the majority of the acapella dubstep section 😂😂😂😂😂😂 i'm going to bed with rock hard abs from laughing holy shit that was fun.
Someone has to make a PMV from the apple core track, featuring the worlds most honest sidepony. That would be in the next Ponies: The Anthology. xD Acapella Dubstep really cracked me up, too.
I loved ambient drill It kinda sounds like the hip hop version of Kid A and Amnesiac by Radiohead (which I guess can be considered ambient electric/rock albums)
Holy shit dude I'm so inspired watching this video i was hugely into music playing guitar and being in bands but got so burnt out i started editing videos and photos etc instead. but this stuff is right up my alley. I am used to recording music with reaper but the way you do things is so different and i didn't know there were sound samples you could download so easily.. is this Ableton by the way ? your workflow is super smooth also ... maybe its time for me to check out a new daw and get inspired again to make music
I'm pretty sure someone already beat you to redneck future bass. I mean, have any of y'all listened to modern country radio? That's nearly half of what's on there. It's trap for grannies.
These were awesome examples of on-the-fly composition, writing, and a testament to this guy's familiarity with music theory. BUT, the fact that people are praising his innovation, when all of them with the exception of "Apple Core" were just gimmicks of Hip Pop and contemporary genres, even going as far as to have near identical vocal parts, (and Apple Core just being House/ EDM), is all just a tad funny. It was a cool video, but he didn't do much 'inventing' here at all, it was very formulaic.
I aspire to be proficient enough in my work, one day, as this man is at making music. Pulling songs that could hit top charts out of thin air and his chat. What an absolute piece of work.
you jest but there was a period of time back in 2010-12 where beatport were making up about 30 genres a week with names like this and had a whole section of the dedicated to them...
i stream every monday - wednesday - friday over at twitch.tv/welcome2bishu
